How dare they call this a «Mall»? It’s an indoor swap meet in a not so good area, with stands selling nothing but cheap stuff brought in from Mexico. I was looking for gifts to take back to Los Angeles. This is definitely not the place for that.

I needed to get a Baptism/Communion rosary and knew there were several stands that sold it here. While looking around I saw there was a seamstress. I am always looking for a good affordable sewing that doesn’t cgarge an arm and a leg. No business card, but told me to «take a pic of the sign» to grab her info. Will update info once try her sewing.

Im a huge fan of dives, and while this«mall» may definitely have not been a dive back in its heyday(oh god…70 years ago?), its just kind of cute and quiche now. In a dive way. If that makes sense. 2 floors. no walls; chain link fences serve that purpose. One or two«security guards.» Cash Only. Toys, Clothes, Jewelry, obligatory verizon booth. Best soccer store in town. This soccer store is the main reason I come here; they have an excellent selection of Mexican league teams(Club America, Chivas, etc.), plus south American, and even some Premier League, plus shoes. I love this store! Note: bring your Spanish; since the English here is broken at best(fine with me). Can’t wait to go back, and if they like you, they’ll cut you a deal… Oh wait, I’m on my way back right now?! Bike parking is relegated to street signs outside, so bring your U-Lock.
