Loved this place. We have been to a few other dueling piano bars in Boston and San Francisco. This was just as good if not better. There were 4 guys playing this weekend. Piano, drums and even trumpet. So talented. The wait staff was great. Would highly recommend it. We live in Chicago and I would go back to see them again.

I always have a great time when I go to Lucille’s! From the hilarious guys that play the dueling pianos to the tasty music themed cocktails it’s hard to go wrong! The pros: you’re guaranteed to know and sing along with every song! The guys that play are extremely talented and it’s not easy to stump them with song suggestions! The wait staff is always extremely friendly and the drinks are pretty tasty! The cons: it’s a little tightly packed with all the tables and chairs and there are some giant pillars that can make it difficult to see the show. There’s almost always a cover charge which generally makes people less likely to spend money at the bar(it’s only $ 5 but is still a but of a drag). And unless you spend at least $ 20 or you’re the only one there, don’t expect your song to get played. Pro tip: while there is a cover charge at most times, if you’re coming here after an event at the Bradley Center they usually wave the cover if you show your ticket!

Had a great time last night. Place was packed… should have called for a reservation but that was my fault. However while standing and watching a table opened up and one of the wait staff that seen we were standing the whole time cleaned the table and invited us to sit there… It was a buddy’s birthday and we have a blast.

From Chicago, needed a weekend away. My wife picked this spot and I was a little skeptical at first, but boy was I wrong. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We had so much fun and well hey, Spotted Cow on top you can’t go wrong. We will be back for another weekend getaway!

Love it! Been here quite a few times now. Coolest live show in town! Two pianos and drums taking song requests. They bring in piano players to play with the local players from all over the country(We saw a guy from California and a woman from Nashville recently.) So the show is always different depending who’s playing and what the audience requests. They can go from Spice Girls straight to Billy Joel and then Great Balls of Fire. Drinks were reasonable. Good specials on Thursdays. Okay! Here’s how it works. Last time we were there I saw a lady get all huffy and come up to the piano and take her, like, $ 3 request back and storm away. This request was surrounded by five, ten and even some twenty dollar song requests. Why do you think it hasn’t been played yet? On a Saturday, the price can get high to hear your song right away. And bachelorette parties are putting up like $ 40 to get their girl on stage. After midnight it chills out a little. On Thursday, you can get a song played for two bucks. We usually put up requests for like five bucks and they get to them pretty quick. If it’s busy put more. Or don’t. Just enjoy the music. We’ll definitely be back!

I definitely would not come here unless your forced to come with a bachelorette party like every other schmuck that comes here… the idea of it is really cool the piano guys play almost any song u can think of and make fun of the bride and embarrass her and that’s all fun but this place is so run down. We were one of the first few groups here and they ran out of chicken tenders, they ran out of menus so we couldn’t get a drink menu then they took our ketchup and mustard then they’re fridge went«out» and they served my friend a warm beer with a cup of ice??? Then another server walked up and took her cup of ice?!? She didn’t really need it anyways who drinks beer in a cup with ice? Service is very slooooowwwww it took our server almost 40 min to come back after she dropped the check so we could pay our tab(they take your credit card and didn’t give it back when she brought our check so we couldn’t even pay cash and then leave) and on top of that we were all charged for the chicken fingers that they«ran out of» but this place is so loud and unorganized the server could barely hear anything you had to say. Stay away very far away from this place unless you want a cheesy as heck bachelorette party it would’ve been cooler if they played better music but if was mostly what a bunch of girls would play on a jukebox at a dive bar I would never go here on purpose…,

Went here for a Bachelorette party. After reading the reviews I was skeptical but knew the bride would love the pianos. We were seated right away after arriving a few minutes early. The hostess took our drink orders, and we asked for her to take our food orders(especially after reading reviews saying that the food took awhile). She let us know our waiters name, but we did not see him until our food and sodas were ready(around 30 – 40 minutes). When our food was brought to us it was missing the sides that we ordered, and getting them took 10 – 25 minutes. Keep in mind this is before the pianos even started. When he came back we ordered a fishbowl but did not receive it until an hour later. a few of the tables around us were served quickly, while our waiter was no where to be found. We ended up going to the bar and ordering our drinks(thinking he had forgotten about us or left!) and 15 minutes after we sat down, he came by with our drinks. When cleaning up our table later he spilled a drink on two of the bridesmaids. The food was not very good, but then again you don’t go to a piano bar for the food. Most of us started feeling gross after we ate. The drinks were sugary and VERYWATERED down. After a few ‘shots’ and drinks no was was the least bit intoxicated. The only nice thing about our night was the pianos. The men were extremely funny and energetic. The crowd was decent, nothing like their promo video! But maybe the lack of alcohol in the drinks had something to do with that. The only way I would go back is if the service changed and the food and drinks were better.

Two pianos. Decent piano players. Bad sound. Bad ambiance. Ok. So the pianos players are good. They just don’t have the venue to perform. Not a good spot for a dueling piano bar. In fact, this place kind of sucks. As I type this — they are dying for people to tip $ 20. Haha. And the drumming. Pretty bad. Don’t come here.

If you ever want to be swarmed by cat calling woo girls and played typical popular music by okay piano players, this is the place for you. The prices are over the top and the piano players voices are high pitched and rival only those of the Bachelorette party woo girls. Save your money and attend festivities elsewhere.

This place was awesome! My fiancé and I went here this last Saturday(3÷21÷15) and we ended up staying for almost three hours. We didn’t have reservations, but we were able to come in with another group, that said that we could say that we were with them. Good people. Anyways, the three piano players were amazing. They were talented, funny, and entertaining. Couldn’t recommend that place more. We were hesitant to go in because of some of the negative reviews, on here, but my fiancé talked me into checking it out anyway. I’m glad she did. One of the highlights of the weekend.

This place is like Chuck E. Cheese for adults. You go once or twice a year(usually for a birthday party) spend too much money, eat a bunch of greasy foods, drink a bunch of empty calories and then you are set for about 6 months. The piano players are great, but they are kind of dicks about how much you tip them. They should just say 10 bucks to request a song and if you want to tip more to get your song moved up, you can(someone tipped a dollar and they were making fun of them. Ha! Poor people) As has been previously stated, the crowd is mostly Chad’s and Stella’s intertwined with Birthday and bachelorette parties. They have a decent beer selection, but their mixed drinks are pre-made, syrupy, and heartburn inducing. I feel like if someone were making a Milwaukee travel guide, this would be a spot they would recommend, even though us locals know of far better spots.

Stumbled upon this place and had a great time. Brilliant pianist(plural.) Stopped in on a random Thursday and enjoyed $ 1 domestic drafts and $ 21800 tequila shots. Well worth checking this spot out.

Have you ever been to a dueling piano bar before? If so, think of the douchiest, skeeziest person you’ve ever met, and put him on the piano and you have Lucille’s. listen, I know what piano bars are all about and they’re pretty much all the same– small town tourists and bachelorette parties. I was with a bachelorette party and cringed the whole night at the giant asshat with the huge teeth playing the piano. We stayed until it was our bachelorette’s turned to be humiliated with a gross song– though I will say that it would probably be a lot funnier if the piano player weren’t such a troll. Drinks were gross and way over priced. I wouldn’t return here if you paid me.

A specialized and cultivated bar. I’ve never seen so many bachelorette parties in one place. The place was full of women, about 10:1. The pianists were adept performers and adroit at working the crowd. The piantists took bribes to play songs and bachelorettes were routinely brought on stage to be roasted. There were routines and rules specific to the bar. Such as, all drinks brought on stage were to be chugged instead of placed on the«$ 40,000 coasters,» yelling«Lucille, you *****, you *****, you *****» to the bachelorettes at the end of their roast, and certain drink specials(see photos).

Visited this past weekend for my Bachelorette Party. Nothing too special. They change the words in a song to make it dirty to embarrass people. Kind of funny, but meh. They played a lot of really laid back music for a Saturday night. To be fair, we are all used to the amazing piano bar that is Sluggers in Chicago, so our expectations were really high. We hung around for about a half an hour and then headed out to find something better. There is an amazing bar about a block from here. As soon as I find the name, I will add a review. Had the time of our lives there.

Located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, Lucille’s may just be my new post Admirals game tradition. The location is very convenient, a block away from the Bradley center, and just a few blocks from Water. They have live dueling pianos on Fridays, and the performers drink as they go, meaning that as the night goes on and the livelier the crowd, the more entertaining the performers become. Keep in mind that they take requests, and if you give them a decent enough tip, they’ll play literally ANYTHING. Ever see a scrawny white boy sing Aretha Franklin and DMX? I have. I’ve been there a few times, and it seems that the crowd varies from being full of college kids, to a nice mix of younger people and a few older groups as well, and it mixes perfectly. They have a full bar, as well as wait staff that can bring you food/drinks as you watch the show, and once the ball gets rolling, the live music becomes a bit more interactive as they invite people up to the stage to sing along, or dance, at the mercy of the crowd. Prices are decent, and you can expect to pay the same price you’d find at most bars downtown, but the bartenders make the drinks strong, and mix them well. One of the only downsides is that when it gets busy, it can be quite hard to get service, and you might get seated in a spot where you can’t see the live music very well, without leaning around a pillar. I have to say that this is a great place to go with a group of friends or a date, and one of the few places downtown where you can legitimately start a friendly conversation with a table next to you, and it’s perfectly natural and even welcome.

Omgsh what an amazing idea for a bar: dueling pianos!!! A friend of mine brought me here for my birthday because he knew I loved music, and what a treat! Listening to the two pianist back and forth with request from the crowd, it was seriously awesomeness! There were birthdays present(mine included), bachelorette parties present, and lovers of music present; what an atmosphere! I highly recommend to all, and while I don’t remember the price of the drinks, I’d say bring cash because that’s how you can get your requests advanced.
