Larry’s Hoagies & Bar B Que Station

omg the food is so good i tell everybody about this place and Mr. Larry has very good customer service I love the baked potatoes just call a hour ahead

I have called this place a few times and no one ever picks the phone so I never went over because I don’t know if they are open. Today I’m guessing Larry called my phone back to say he missed a call so I asked if he was open and if the ribs are ready and he said yes and away I went.
This BBQ place is very unconventional because it’s a kitchen with walk up and drive through windows with no indoor seating. The drive through was empty when I was there and I got in and out right away, see my pictures. The lack of the smell of smoke is always a problem with me and there was none here.
When I got home and un packaged my ribs I couldn’t smell any smoke either so obviously there not going to be my idea of true BBQ and no fire or smoke was used in the cooking process.
The ribs were fall off the bone clean, tender and moist which was good. 2 slices of generic white bread for moping up the sauce. The ribs were cooked in an oven and BBQ sauce poured all over them. The meat tasted like cooked pork with BBQ sauce poured all over them. The sauce was to my liking and that’s always a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ chance of me liking it. The sauce starts sweet and tasty and finishes with nice heat.
Over all it’s not my favorite BBQ place but I did like the ribs even though they were not my style of BBQ. I did like the fact that they were cooked perfect and not hard and dried out like some I have had in the past. I would say to anyone to give them a try because the ribs were not bad, just not my style.
