This is a great place to get a classic diner style breakfast. Great for kids and always steadily busy. Decent food, good people.

If you like getting a deal for super good food, you must visit the Landmark Family Café. The menu has one of the largest selections of fast, hot home made food I’ve seen. The service is prompt and friendly. It’s easy to become a regular at rock bottom prices.

I had breakfast at Landmark on a Sunday morning after finding our first restaurant choice to be closed. We sat at the counter, and it was bustling behind there and somewhat noisy between dishes clattering and conversation from the restaurant. The workers seemed to be nice, hardworking folks. We were greeted right away and given some water. The décor was somewhat dated and frou frou with ornate wallpaper and a flowery wallpaper border as well, nothing fancy or modern. For breakfast, they offered standard breakfast fare plus crepes and skillets. I ordered two eggs with hash browns, toast and added bacon. The hash browns tasted a bit like artificial butter, but they also seemed freshly shredded. The meal came with three strips of bacon which was nothing extraordinary, but not bad either. My eggs, ordered over medium, were large and well-prepared and there were packets of orange marmalade for my rye toast. As others have mentioned, the food came out quickly and the prices were reasonable. If you’re looking for a quick diner-style breakfast, this is a pretty solid choice.

Oh gods, perfect little diner out-of-time. Free beer with every meal, a full line of sandwiches and burgers, video poker and slots… You just have to experience it to believe it. I’ll definitely go back. The food was OK, good but not memorable, but there are times when you just need a diner, and this is the place to go.

Always good, quick and cheap food. We usually go for breakfast on Saturday or Sunday mornings. They are on top of coffee refills.

Good solid food. Nothing fancy but it was a perfect breakfast spot. Four in our party and in/out in 30 minutes. Prices were very fair, coffee refilled more than we could drink. Lots of locals and local flavor to be experienced. I judge a lot of diners by their bkfst and the Landmark Diner is a solid choice

Perfect spot for a hungover breakfast. The wait staff is friendly and accommodating. The menu has a plethora of options and the scrambles and omelets really hit the spot. If you’re looking for a place with copious amounts of season-yourself-food this is it. No joke, perfect dive. And they don’t look at you funny when you order a beer at nine in the morning.

There is no reason to go anywhere else for breakfast if you live in St. Francis, Cudahy, or the rest of southern Milwaukee. Great food at a cheap price. A great mom and pop place.

Food is fair. Takes about 4 minutes after I order to get the food. The prices seem to fluctuate on a daily basis. The servers should get on the same page. It’s a greasy spoon not the pfister.

This review is for the fish fry only. I was a bit disappointed with the flavor of the fish. The only positive thing abut the fish was it was crispy and came out freshly cooked. The fish tasted kind of bland and were rather small pieces. However, there were quite a few items that came with the fish fry including soup or salad, a potato, and a dessert. It also came with a side of corn and a basket of bread. I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup and a baked potato. The broccoli cheddar soup was okay, but not delicious. I wanted a loaded baked potato and I received a baked potato that had melted shredded cheese with pieces of real bacon and sour cream on the side. It didn’t really look that appetizing, but it was okay because you can’t really go wrong with a baked potato. Now, the bread was cold, which took me by surprise because I thought bread should be served at room temperature or warm. The dessert was basic, nothing to brag about. I don’t think I will try the fish fry again, but I’ll try some of their other dishes in the future. By the way, I’d rather spend a little more for flavor and larger pieces of fish.

I went here for breakfast. The crowd was older with regulars all over. I got the feeling that it’s a neighborhood hang out. The interior was dated with the wall paper missing in places. My server was working the whole room and handling everyone like a boss. I opted for the eggs, hash browns, sausage, toast and a side of ham. My food came quick. First off the ham was the fake kind and not off the bone. My sunny side eggs looked good but we’re a little over cooked on the bottom. Toast options were generic white, wheat etc. The hash browns were really good. The sausage links were tasty. Over all it was a decent breakfast and I can see why the regulars hang out here. If I lived in the neighborhood I would frequent here but this was quest to try all of the greater Milwaukee breakfast places around.

Landmark is my favorite place to go on my own or with friends. The food is good, severs are phenomenally nice. I usually come for breakfast but they make a good sandwich for lunch too. All their soups are homemade and delicious! If you’re looking for fancy hip new this is not the place to go. Landmark is where you find classic comfort food you can probably make at home but it’s always nice when someone else does all the work while you get to enjoy.

My family considers this spot our kitchen away from home and eat breakfast there at least once a week. The eggs are good and the price is right. But where they shine, and I have no idea why the place isn’t packed, is their Friday fish fry. Their cod is outstanding(and cheap). Add to that 2.50 beers and what’s not to love? Seriously, I have no idea why this place isn’t packed on Friday nights.

I came here because I live in Bay View & I drive by it all the time. When I walked in, there was no one at the hostess stand so I just walked in & sat at the counter they had. It took several minutes for someone to notice me, give me a menu & something to drink. I ordered French toast, eggs & sausage — the good came out fairly quickly & it was decent, nothing spectacular. The employee seems more interested in talking to each other than serving. One of the employees kept on asking if she could leave because she did what she was supposed to & had other things to do. The restaurant was very sparsely decorated & really didn’t create any atmosphere… …I don’t know, maybe when I go somewhere to eat, I’m picky about the atmosphere… I don’t know if I’ll be back.

I have been here several times for breakfast and pretty darn good. Exactly what I wanted, good diner food at a good price. The food isn’t fancy but its a diner and the food shouldn’t be fancy. Prices are very reasonable and you will not leave hungry. Enjoy.

This rating in on the waitress who has served breakfast to my table the last few times. I love this place. But, I am going to walk out if I get her again. I try not to get on people because they are trying to make some money… But, this is a continuous habit. She is the heavier one w usually has food stains on her t shirt. She never comes back to your table to ask if you need anything. This is the second time she gave me my food with her thumb on top of my food. You have to hunt her down to get the check. And, today she set down someone else’s food before realizing it wasn’t our tables. And, we witnessed her doing that to other tables on separate occasions. Tables are served out of order… It just usually is a mess of an experience. The place gets 4 – 5 stars when she is not my server.

Had a really nice breakfast. While the Landmark clearly has a lot of regulars from the neighborhood, we first-timers got very good service. The food was good for the price. I had a Denver omelet with mushrooms and cheese. For less than $ 6, I got a big plate of eggs and hash browns, with the requisite two piece of(rye) toast. My wife is fond of corned-beef hash in the morning, and got the hash omelet with cheddar and onions, also with hash browns. She wasn’t impressed with the flavor of the hash, but the portion was more than she could finish. She shared some of the remainder with me, and I liked it. We did not experience any of the issues other Unilocalers have reported, so I’m thinking those problems have been resolved. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the neighborhood.
