Kar Construction

It appears that a handshake means NOTHING to Kar Construction. Got an estimate, had measurements taken, even picked out a style and color for concrete counter top work. I thought we had a deal, I was wrong! The very next day, I received a voicemail informing me that they just landed an account with Walmart & Kar would not be able to take on my project. When I phoned back in response to the email, Keith cut me off and told me he left the information in the voice mail– rather unapologetic, I might add. I get that Walmart will be paying a lot more than Kar would get for doing my job, however, I think it is very unprofessional to back out of a deal. If you hire Kar to do a job for you, you better hope something better doesn’t come up for them before they finish it– if they even start it at all!
