One of my favorite green spaces in the M K E!
Biking, running, and walking paths? check.
performing arts stage? check.
Soccer field!?! check!
River views, city views, and overall awesomeness? triple check!
Skyline Music Series & Shakespeare in the Park call Kadish Park home during the summer, taking advantage of the amphitheater that sits on the upper edge of a steep hill. Other events are sprinkled in throughout the year featuring food, music, and other performing arts. There is also a soccer field on the northeast side of the park! Yeah soccer!
So many paths lead in and out of the park area that it’s hard not to find it. Biking/​running/​walking paths wind up the hill from Commerce to North Ave with several side branches along the West and East sides of the park. There are also stairs that will take you straight up from Booth Street.
And as far as free outdoor spaces right in the middle of Milwaukee go, you can’t beat the views while perched just above the river with the city skyline in the background!
