I don’t understand why people rave about this pizza. Not enough sauce, toppings can be skimpy, and too much crust. Give me a DeMarinis or Balistreris any day.

Best pizza in Wisconsin — Seriously. I am a pizza snob and I absolutely love Ian’s! They are most known for their Mac n’ Cheese pizza, which is good, but I prefer the Chicken, Bacon, Ranch slice(Smokey the Bandit). There is just the right amount of sweet BBQ sauce on it, so it doesn’t make the crust soggy but gives the slice a wonderful flavor. I could literally eat this pizza everyday. They also have salads though, with a wide variety of topping/dressing options if pizza isn’t your thing. This place is centrally located right around Water Street and is opened late, so it is literally the perfect late night spot to grab a slice before Ubering home. If you get the Chicken, Bacon, Ranch slice(as I recommend) be sure to ask for a side of ranch for extra dipping :). Enjoy!

It’s 2AM. They claim to be open until 2:30 but they are closed. These is a hot black girl who has to pee who probably now has a bladder infection. She can’t procreate with her stunning boyfriend. The world has lost due to this.

I really like the pizzas here and it’s fine if you just want to stop in for a slice. But we ordered for carry-out. When I got there I gave my name and the register person had to be told how to handle it if I paid online. Then I waited another ten minutes beyond the listed expected time. At one point one of the staff asked another what«he»(head nod to me) was waiting for. The other person WHOHADTAKENMYNAME said she didn’t know. A minute later someone asked and I gave my name again. Suddenly people jumped when they realized it was there all along. I like the food and the place, but the staff sucks. Zero training or customer skills. And one kid was high as a kite, wearing pitch black glasses and had to keep stopping to stare at the pizza he was making. Edit to drop to one. Normally I like this pizza… but this was burned. Never again.

Decent pizza. A tad pricy. Could have thrown a few more forks and napkins in with my delivery order. Big slices though, and I fed a good number of people.

Reasonably-priced, delicious slices that are in your hands in minutes. Exactly what I want when I just want a slice of pizza! The cheesy potato with ranch pizza is by far the best. But if they don’t have it, there’s still always several vegetarian options to choose from(and usually some vegan stuff too). It’s a no-frills type of joint, but it gets the job done!

If life ever offers you Mac & Cheese pizza, you take it. Ian’s Pizza is a popular late night spot in the middle of downtown, across from the bars. However, it seems to be a popular staple throughout the day as well. Several people directed us here when we asked where to eat! The line gets super long at night, but they remain the stay organized and efficient. Dave the doorman allows only a certain number of people in the pizza joint at a time and is friendly and talkative with the crowd. The slices of pizza are huge and apparently there’s usually lots of options(there was only about three while I was there). There was cheese, pepperoni, Mac & Cheese, and penne noodle pizza(if you want to be super Italian. Jk real Italians would probably be ashamed by this). Definitely stop by if you’ve never been before!

Color me not impressed. Maybe the the trick to appreciating Ian’s is to be more stoned then the person working the register, but alas I was not. For as many workers as there were making pizza, the front of the house was playing a different game. I’m talking s l o w. I get that Ian’s is known for their crazy non-traditional pizza stylings but I would have liked a slice of plain old cheese and sausage to establish a base line. Failing this, there was a pepperoni option that I settled on. It was«just OK», maybe a half step above the pizza spinning at the gas station. The crust was pretty good since it truly is hand tossed. Maybe I’ll try something a little more adventurous next time, if there is a next time. For my late night pizza needs, I’ll be opting for Classic Slice if I can. At least it was cheap. For $ 4 I got two slices because the person who served me my pizza screwed up and a free soda because the person at the register forgot to ring it in before he ran my debit card. All in all, it was worth what I paid for it.

Pizza for stoners(and drunk people) by stoners. We walked over to Ian’s from Old World 3rd at around 7ish on a Friday night. Since it was early, there wasn’t much of a line but it still took no less than 20 minutes to get our food. The person running the register had no clue whatsoever — ringing up each person took 4 – 5 minutes. The folks behind the counter seemed to be hustling around but not actually taking care of any customers. The pizza? Meh, it was okay — certainly nothing justifying all the hype. The crust is very good — crisp with a nice chew. There weren’t many options available at the time we stopped and I wasn’t excited by what was on offer. I ended up with a Mac and cheese slice that we didn’t order but the staff handed us(see: clueless, above). It was interesting but nothing I’d order again. The Mister said his pepperoni slice was«pretty crappy». I’d probably like Ian’s a lot better if it were 1am and I was loaded but I wasn’t so I didn’t.

In the past I have firmly believed all pizza should have a traditional sauce. I’ve been trying to broaden my horizons and WOW was that effort rewarded at Ian’s. They had so many unique and and exciting options, but I ultimately went for two of the pasta inspired slices– Mac n’ Cheese and Drunken Ravioli. The latter has a tomato cream sauce with three-cheese ravioli and it was really good. It didn’t feel like eating pasta on a pizza, but really a pasta pizza. It’s a seasonal slice, so get it while you can! The staff, which was exceedingly helpful and patient in explaining all the options to this first timer, highly recommended the Mac n’ Cheese– and they were so right to do so. The delicious white sauce, the cheese, the macaroni, and the crust all harmonize into something so much greater than the sum of its parts. If I lived nearby this would definitely be my go to slice. I’d like to point out this was stone cold sober at 1:00PM. I can imagine it’s even better at 1:00AM. Regardless of what time it is, I strongly suggest you find a way to Ian’s.

A foreigner from Western Europe here: I’m really not used to the thin crust pizzas, I have actually never had one in my life until now! And it was good. Very thin, and I’d prefer more filling on top of it but it was great. Me and my friend(who decided that for him, as a lover of more«puffy» and thicker pizzas, this was not really a good experience) ordered, if I remember the name right, buffalo chicken(the one with blue cheese and a bit spicy chicken). It was a 16″(about 40 cm), big, flat pizza covered in cheese with, you wouldn’t believe it — chicken pieces. Was a bit spicy, crusty, and very chewy(my jaw started hurting after the third piece). I liked it a lot! It was definitely an interesting and new food experience. PS: the prices are great for this area, according to other native reviewers but for me it was kind of a luxury. I thought they were supposed to be cheaper in the US? 17 bucks for a pizza? O_o

This is the only place outside of New York where I have experienced true New York style pizza!(This is the light at the end of a very long very dark tunnel for me as a transplant.) The crust is chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside and it’s cut into actual triangles instead of this weird checkerboard situation I’ve experienced here in the Midwest. Delicious. Their special flavors are well-crafted and creative, you can always find something new and have it be reliably great. Their service is friendly and helpful and a few times I’ve been there with friends, they came over and gave us some free baggies of puppy chow! I love this place, and their location on North is just as great.

Delicious. Fast. Cheap. I love pizza. I love it a lot. I could eat pizza every day if I lived by Ian’s. It is, so far, my favorite place to grab a slice of yummy pizza to go. The slices are huge and they don’t skimp on toppings. And as for variety they have it. Much like other shops you will find several pies ready to go in many styles to suit your mood. Traditional toppings and funky, they are all fresh and delicious. Friendly fast service, piping hot food, noisy atmosphere. This is everything I like about downtown. No nonsense. No frills. Just good, honest food with no-pressure service. Their website has a full menu of offered pizzas as well as featured pies each month. Plus, a list of salads, sticks, and even ice cream with pricing for all.

Came here on a late night after a concert. This was one of the few places that were open past 10:30 on a Monday night. They have a lot of different choices but all are thin crust only(hence why they didn’t get 5 stars). The prices are really good for how much food you get. The atmosphere is more for a younger crowd with music blasting, which I liked). The staff was REALLY friendly and outgoing too. Definitely will go back to this place whenever I’m in the area agai. n

First, let me just be sure to advise that you eat at Ian’s after dark; it tastes so much better. Whether it’s the famous mac and cheese pizza, the delicious barbecue chicken, or the weekly mashup(such as Thanksgiving Dinner), you’re sure to find a winner. They also have pepperoni, and other such boring choices, if you’re into that sort of thing, but go wild(relatively) and try one of the fun flavors. With quick service, decently low prices, and a good variety, it’s pretty tough to find someone that won’t be happy getting a slice here.

Usually have had a decent experience, tasty food, quick service… but tonight I bite into my bbq chicken pizza at home and wonder why I can’t chew it. well that’s because I was chewing on a piece of gauze! Thanks for ruining pizza for the next year or so, Ian’s!

I was at Ian’s Pizza on Juneau on a Saturday night before a show with my wife. We both got a slice of pizza and I had their buffalo chicken pizza, which was quite good. It wasn’t super hot, but not cold either. I would consider it 4 out of 5 starts for a cool little pizza place. Ian’s seems to always have quite the variety of pizza, so you can always find something unique to try.

This place is awesome will be back. Had to try the Mac and cheese due to The Food Network best pizza list. I was not disappointed. I would have never thought of getting this but seeing that I don’t live in Milwaukee I couldn’t leave with out trying it. The pizza of the week was steak chimichurri and I hope they decided to have it long than a week. I need them to have it when I come back next year lol.

What is this line at 1 in the morning? Oh it’s for MACANDCHEESEPIZZA! There was literally a line out the door of people waiting to get a slice(or 3 in my case) of some delicious NY style late night pizza. This is located right near a line of bars, so of course they are busy and probably the most satisfying for the stumbling crowds. Drunk or sober this pizza is on point. They are cheap and quick. The menu shows a ton of different, unique pizzas but they are pumping out the ones they know are in the biggest demand, so unless you want to wait like 20 minutes for them to make you a pizza that isn’t out yet, just go with what they have. I got 3 slices at $ 4 each. I went with a pepperoni, mac and cheese, and BBQ chicken. I would have to say the BBQ was my favorite. Each one was so good. Lot’s of cheese, just the right amount of sauce, nothing overpowered the other. I really wish we had better pizza offerings in Oswego, because every time I try something like this, it just makes what’s available in my town look more pathetic.

Dont see what the hype is about this place.. Breadsticks were well just bread and very bland and dry. The pizza was better than chain pie joints but not all that good. They are open late and deliver late so that’s a plus. $ 30 for a soda, Breadsticks, small pie.

I placed my order 2 hours before I didn’t receive it. I am staying in the Pfister and the person on the phone was a little slow, but very nice and seemed to get my order correct. Then… yeah. I was laying around waiting for my order. I got up to use the restroom and came back to keep watching tv. I thought to check my cell phone because it seemed like I ordered food forever before(doesn’t it always with delivery?) and realized that I missed a call from an unknown number 3 times. I called the number back and the kid I spoke with informed me that he had been to the hotel and left because I didn’t answer. I asked him why he didn’t come up to the room and he told me he couldn’t because you need permission to get in the elevator. I asked him if he spoke to the concierge and he said ‘yes’. He told me he’d be back in 10 – 15 minutes after he delivered his next order. In the mean time, I called downstairs and spoke with the concierge station who stated that delivery never spoke to them. 20 – 25 minutes later I finally called the store and asked to speak with a manager. I told him of the situation and he offered to take ½ off of my food. Um — after waiting for TWOHOURS? He was very nice and professional and maybe that’s their policy, but I can tell you that if I owned a restaurant I would have offered to remake the food and send it out ASAP. Instead, I asked if I could cancel the order because I was pretty sure by the time it would get here, if it would get here, it’d be cold. He agreed, graciously, and I hope to see the refund on my card. Of course, 5 minutes later the delivery guy came up to my room. I explained to him that I had called to cancel the order(the store couldn’t have contacted him?) and he left with major attitude. What a terrible experience. Maybe they’re good for eat in? The best advice I can offer is that if you order from them, be prepared to wait longer than the quoted time and bring your phone with you wherever you go in case they need to call you for some reason.

I ordered a serious amount of pizza for delivery from this Ian’s. Probably too much pizza in fact. But, in my defense it was really hard to decide if I needed a smoked brisket and tots or mac ‘n cheese or spinach feta pesto pizza more. Plus I simply had to order a pepperoni pizza — I mean that’s the basic pie to compare notes on how good of a pizza place this is, amirite? The delivery took about an hour, which was the quoted time and nothing unexpected. The pizza arrived hot and fairly fresh. And it was just as good as I could have hoped for. In fact it was good enough I may have eaten one or two pieces more than my stomach wanted to handle. With such a creative menu it’s definitely hard to figure out what to get, but it’s also a beautiful thing to have so many options. That way you can try, try again until you find the pizza of your dreams. Yep, I am indeed a fan.

If I could, I would give this place zero stars. This place is a joke. My wife and I are in town this weekend for a show. To save time last night, my wife came up with the idea to just order in and get pizza delivered to our hotel. That way we can just relax, eat here the. Walk over to the show. We ordered the pizza at 5:42pm. We were told that it would be here within an hour. At 7pm I called to see what the deal was. The response was, «driver is leaving now. Sorry man». «Click».(He hung up). We now had an hour to get to the show. So we got ready and still no pizza, no call, nothing. It’s now 7:30 and I call again and ask what the heck is going on. I was told the driver should be here soon. Finally 7:50 rolls around and we have to leave. Haven’t eaten, we walk down to the lobby. As we are leaving(almost 8pm!!!) the pizza guy pulls up. We quickly stuff our faces in the lobby. The pizza is cold and nasty. What the heck??? 2+ hours for a pizza!!! No call, no apology.
