Gallery 2622 is a Wauwatosa art gallery that’s devoted to emerging and established fine artists working in Wisconsin. I can see their gallery from my back patio and when I see an artist’s work I like on their e-​mail updates, I simply walk over and check it out. I recently went to an opening for Chicago illustrator Michael Waraksa (
) and met the artist. They usually have cheese, wine and PBR at events.
In addition to original art, the gallery is also available to rent and Gallery 2622 offers framing services.
I deduct a star because most art is priced out of my range. I’ve yet to see any pieces below $ 200.
