This beer is really, really good, you guys. And the founder(Tommy) is a really, really nice guy. As one of the newest breweries in MKE, Enlightened is still flying hard under the radar. That’s not to say that they’re not making headway, though… you can find ‘em occupying tap space at the likes of Draft & Vessel, Boone & Crockett, Allium, Odd Duck, Rumpus Room and even The Palm Tavern + Romans, to name a handful. What do these spots have in common? GOODBEER. And Enlightened is really good beer. This NKOTB is proving that bigger isn’t always better; they’re still a small operation situated in a modest warehouse in Bay View. Standouts: the 53207(a super drinkable«California Common»), their Leap of Faith Gose(Gose = so hot right now, and for good reason; 3.5%, just tart enough and wicked delicious), From the Roots(a dark ale brewed w/WI Maple sap) and the now retired Molly Baker’s Porridge(an oat-y, English Mild Ale). Check their website to get to know a little more about ‘em:
