I’m so glad I drove past and curiosity had me parking out front and walking in. I was greeted warmly in Spanish. Fortunately, they detected my extremely limited Spanish, grinned and switched to English. I asked the server about her favorite dish and happily heeded her recommendation. The camarones a la diabla were delicious. There was only a little heat, but just enough to have me dabbing my forehead to remove a couple small beads of sweat, though I was adding salsa roja and verde. I was not very hungry or I would have enjoyed more of what they had to offer. The kicker of the experience was the price, so inexpensive. I will go back soon and often. I gave 4 stars as I don’t believe in going over the top based on one experience. That said, I highly recommend anyone reading this to go experience El Bucanero for yourself. I don’t think you will be disappointed.
