Edgewood Tailors

I brought three skirts in to be altered and was pleased with the results. Two of the skirts were of good quality (they have several pleats, a waistband, and a lining) so I knew they would take skill to alter. The woman who owns the place altered them perfectly and I found the price to be comparable for what needed to be done. She got all three skirts done in about a week and a half.
It’s cash only, which isn’t the most convenient for me, but I can handle it. She asked that I call the day of to make sure they were ready, which they were. I asked for the total and grabbed cash on the way over. Yeah, I could buy a new skirt made in a sweatshop for $ 10, but taking good care of the things I have already is worth the price.
The building smelled a little smokey, which worried me at first, but when I got my garments back they were totally fine. The parking lot is cramped, but I parked in the Chinese restaurant lot without a problem.

I will now drive to my old tailors, about 25 minutes out of the way, for a better experience.
