This place is great. Everything is a dollar. Need some frozen food? Bring a dollar. Need a mylar baloon? Bring a dollar. What about some kitchen utensil or party supply? Bring a dollar. In fact, bring a bunch of dollars. You may very well find what you are looking for here, and for only $ 1 each item.

I’ve found many useful things at Dollar Tree.
But this is about socks: I’ve recently cleaned out much of 5 drawers full of socks because what Dollar Tree’s been selling fit so much better. This summer it was ankle length and shorter, socks that fit without bunching at the ankle and held their shape after multiple washings. Now in winter, I’ve finally found knee socks that stay up without biting into the flesh, that don’t get eaten by the shoes, that are even a little warm in spite of being so thin that I can wear my usual shoe size. They don’t mind being washed either.

Attention bargain hunters! Dollar Tree is a great place to buy gift wrap, gift bags, bar soap, little office supplies, cleaning supplies, snacks, shaving cream, saran wrap, cake pans and the daily newspaper, always buy my Sunday paper for $ 1 — all for a fraction of what you would pay elsewhere. They even have a school supply section, they started to carry frozen food at this location. There’s some name brand stuff and some generic labels. You can recycle your old newspapers there too.
