I have no idea what the namesake of the park is, but from my reference point this place has neither apple trees nor an awesome library on hand. A very small park that is along some walking paths along the shore. On a non foggy/cloudy day, you get a nice view of the Milwaukee skyline, as well as of the lake. I think if I was an old man, I’d come here to sit on a park bench and feed some birds. Oh wait, I don’t have to wait to do that!

This had to be one of the smallest parks in the County System, but it sure pack a punch! But first you must find it. It’s tucked just northeast of the South Shore Yacht Club, which is just north of South Shore Park. From South Superior Avenue take Iron Street to the Yacht Club Parking lot. The south side of the park borders the north side of the parking lot. So now that you are here, face due east and see sweeping views of Lake Michigan, but the absolute best view is when you turn about 45 degrees northeast and look to downtown. This has to be one of the best views of the Milwaukee skyline from anywhere on land. The Hoan, the US Bank tower, Calatrava, and Discovery World all come together to form one of the coolest views on the Lake. Don’t trust me, don’t trust the pictures below, just go check it out for yourself!
