Checkers

What a blast from the past! I used to get Checkers all the time when I was a kid, but I thought they were all out of the midwest. The burgers are awesome. Good toppings, sorta sloppy. Yum. I can’t wait to eat there again.

I have to say the wings are darn good.

Good Cheddar Burger

Right up the block from the crib, when I’m real short on cash this the spot to go. There really arent any menu items that stand out, but usually I get coupons in the mail for an already cheap menu. Way more tasty than McDonalds, although probably thrown together a little more sloppy than your neighborhood Mickey D’s. Its hood as fuck value food so expecting anything else is out of the question. If youre looking for a glowing experience take your ass to a real restaurant, simple as that.
One item I particularily enjoy is the bacon cheese fries. This is a pretty self explanitory dish so I will only mention that Checkers/​Rallys fries BY FAR outdo any other major fast food chains. They are actually seasoned and taste a damn sight better than the salt lick variety served at McD’s, Burger Kang. etc.
Usually Checkers is offering some kind of weekly special i.e. 2 for $ 3 spicy chicken sandwiches or the new chicken bites box, which i must say is quite a good deal. Five or six dollars should be more than enough to fill you up, unless you are the size of Oprah Winfreys mother, then bring a ten spot and a little extra if you want to finalize your meal with a shake, available in vanilla, chocolate, strawberry & banana flavors respectively. Make sure to hit the hype/​crackheads hand with your spare change in the parking lot. Odds are he’ll be posted up just outside the door or maybe even chilling in the passenger seat of your whip.
Two drive-​thru lanes to get things moving a little faster. Hopefully you pick the one with an employee who wont try to charge you an extra $.30 for a cup of buffalo sauce.
