Bayview Sports Bar & Grill

Luckily for this place there are several other bars for people to quickly leave and have a better experience. The crowd here is drunk, dumb, and just plain dumb and they need to serve people less when they act up. This bar is small and old looming in need of a face lift with just a few screens. This place should to even be called a sports bar.

Ehh… I wish I could come up with a reason of why this place deserves more than one star. Okay… It’s a sports bar, but there isn’t ever anyone here, except a few (meaning 5) regulars (been her a few awful times). The bartender and owner were actually really friendly (maybe deserves 2 stars for that– this goes far in my book). But this place pukes sports, like in an unusual poster, flag, Budweiser sign, kinda way. It’s JUST TOO MUCH.
Had the nachos, seemed like the safe «can’t go wrong» option, uhhhh (crickets). I mean, I love me some grade E meat Taco Bell nachos… This meat tasted weird, like, I can’t place it weird. I mean. How do you screw up nachos??? I wish I could be more descriptive, I just don’t have a word for it.
I will dread another visit as I did this one.

I stopped in to BayView Sports Bar & Grill on a Thursday to watch a Brewers game. It was fairly empty, save for maybe 4 locals at the bar. The space is larger inside than it looks from outside on KK Ave. Beers were moderately priced, and we stayed a while to play pool (they also have darts and games of chance). It’s got a fair amount of TVs to watch on, and plenty of options behind the bar.
The bartender, Tommy, was the life of the place. It seemed like everyone at the bar was a regular and knew him and each other well; interesting and entertaining considering the diversity of the group. I’d come back for pool and to jaw with Tommy and the crew any day.

I love it here! Bartender rocks!!! And very entertaining. Tommy is the best and the beer selection is good! :-)

Not your average sports bar. More of a neighborhood bar. Unique games to play for drinks and even have karaōke some nights.

I guess the other guy who wrote a review had a completely different experience than myself. Rude bartender, patrons staring at you like you don’t belong, and only 1 tv had the pregame on for a Packers Sunday night game. So many other good Bay View bars, I’ll find somewhere else to find the game.

As a sports bar, this place is great. Lots of HDTV’s to watch whatever game is on. ALL sports fans welcome, regardless of what team you’re a fan of. (That’s right… Bears fans are welcome.) Bartender is knowledgeable in college and professional football, as well as baseball. Free deep-​fried snacks during the game, shots when the home-​team scores. Drinks are INEXPENSIVE (cheaper then the neighboring bars), and the patrons are friendly and welcoming.
Worth a stop in!!!
