Seems like gangsters to me– taking advantage of military and retired military. The bigger the Credit Union, the more they struggle understanding the difference between «legal» and «ethical».

Milton, FL
The interior of this branch looks damned near exactly like the interior of my home branch in Florida, so it’s a welcome port for my banking needs while in the ATL area. The staff is friendly and efficient, although they seem less friendly than my home office peeps… but that’s probably because I see those folks several times a month. I was pretty happy to discover this branch so close to where I stay while in ATL, since it is apparently the only brick-​and-​mortar branch in the metro area.
You can’t go wrong with Navy Federal. Low rates, friendly and responsive service, and they interact with you like you’re a real person, instead of a hindrance. I’d heartily recommend NFCU for anybody needing to open any sort of account.
