So great to have a real/fresh seafood place close. Everything is super fresh and she let’s you know where all of her seafood is coming from. I’m super picky about not eating anything coming from Vietnam or Thailand when it comes to shrimp, etc. All her shrimp have been super fresh and the best I’ve had in a long while. I had stopped buying shrimp from Harry’s/now Whole Foods at Avalon b/c they were so expensive and frankly just not that fresh. So check out Kathleen’s you will not be disappointed. Her fresh fish selections is great also ! Many other items also, fresh veggies, some hot soups for lunch or dinner, dry goods to cook w/your fish, etc !

We heard about this place from a neighbor and wanted to see for ourselves. My husband is a Ft. Lauderdale native and very picky about fish as he is an avid fisherman. We are very happy with our selection of Mahi Mahi and Chilean sea bass. The fish was very fresh and we’re excited to have a fresh fish market in the area. The prices are worth it as you are getting fresh fish and not a previously frozen product.

Nice to have a neighborhood seafood market that actually knows something about fish. Everything is extremely fresh, and the selection impressive. Yes, you will spend a little more then going to Publix or Kroger, but it is so worth it. They have several pre-made dips and dinners that are great as well. But I’m all about the fish, and it is great to go get a fresh piece of fish that I know where it came from.

Great variety of seafood. The lobster rolls are wonderful, dangerously wonderful. The soups I have tried are good. The owner was on site and it was pretty busy. I am hopeful that this succeeds.

One of the best lobster rolls I’ve had in Atlanta! And the owner or manager on duty is very nice as well, my husband and I stopped in one night and they were already closed, she came to the door and asked if she could still help us. I thought that alone deserved five stars!

This is the second location, the original one is in John’s Creek. I haven’t visited that one. They had a relatively small selection of fish — which is fine if the fish is good; i’ll be cooking some tonight and will report back. The store smelled a little unpleasant and a little too«fishy» even for a seafood market — I hope this is just an opening thing, because better ventilation will be key with the open fish cases and not traditional fully-enclosed refrigeration cases. The layout of the store is a little weird, too — the fridge cases are towards the parking lot, but some steel wire racks are in the back, making those items difficult to see. With Whole Foods less than 10 minutes away, these folks have a really big mountain to climb. The location is great, but it’s very hard to see from the street unless you’re a regular visitor to Olde Blinde Dog, 850 °F barpizza, or GCBBQ across the street. Service was prompt and helpful. I have high hopes for this place, I hope they make the few minor changes necessary and get enough business to stay in Crabapple — it’s a beautiful little corner that needs more success.
