I’ve had three different meals from here, and everything has been beyond superb! Also, when they say spicy, they genuinely mean spicy! Highly recommend!

Great fast Thai food. I try to stop by at least 2x a month. For $ 9 – 11 you get a great meal. Try the online ordering around noon. Lines can get pretty long between 12 – 12:30. HIGHLYRECOMMEND

I could eat here every day. The food is amazing as well as the customer service! Can I give more than 5 stars?

Been here several times, Thai fried rice is my favorite. Just make sure you are a spicy maniac otherwise don’t order five star hot. I came from southern part of China and always confident about my spicy endurance. But this thing, oh my, really got me. U can try it out but I would recommend you to bring some milk cuz there Thai tea would only make things worse. I finished that plate but that was an experience that I don’t want to have for another time. Their basil fried rice is delicious too. Make sure to order Thai tea :)

First time here. Concept is like Mama Fu’s. Definitely Americanized. Very clean place. Staff really friendly. That’s a plus. We ordered a pad Thai shrimp super hot and pad see u tofu mild. My boyfriend said the pad Thai was good. Tastes like pad Thai. The super hot is really hot. They use actual Thai peppers. Which is a plus. My pad see u was also really good. I got to add which ever veggies I want instead of the traditional veggies the dish comes with in a normal Thai place. My only disappointment was that they used the thin noodles that is used for pad Thai for the pad see u. The pad see u should be on a wider noodle giving it a different texture to the dish. Minus one star. We also ordered the fried spring rolls. They were exceptionally fresh and crispy. Overall. Recommend this place for a quick and simple Thai dish.

If I could give 10 stars, this place definitely deserves it! Every time I would pass this place, me and the hubs would be like oh we need to try that, but never stopped. Well a couple of weeks ago we were in Alpharetta and we remembered we hadn’t been there yet and finally stopped in for lunch. OMG! Where has this been all my life? The food is phenomenal! I love the concept of being able to pick your entrée, then your meat choice, veggies and spice level. Sure, Chow Baby does the same thing, but what makes this place better — The OWNERS! They actually care that your food tastes good and you are happy with the place. I love to see a small business succeed. I have been back 4 times since and each time, I just can’t say enough about the quality of food and service. I honestly could eat there every day. My favorite thing so far are the wings. They are absolutely perfect. They are meaty and I can only tolerate a heat level 2 and that is just right for me. I wish I could get them hotter, just to see what their spice level 5 is like. I also like the pot stickers. The presentation with the cabbage and dipping sauce is so good. I’ve also had the lettuce wraps. It comes with what seems like a full head of Boston lettuce and a mound of meat and veggies to stuff in the lettuce; along with a peanut sauce and soy based sauce for dipping. YUM! And let’s not forget to mention the Basil fried rice and Thai fried rice; both of those are wonderful as well. I’m not personally a huge fan of the noodles, but my hubs had the long kind of clear ones and he said they were great. He’s also had the green curry and said it’s wonderful too. Last, but certainly not least — the homemade fried ice cream! Good Gawd, does it get any better than that? It reminds me of what you could get back in the day at Chi’s Chi’s Mexican Restaurant — not even sure those exist anymore. Any way, the time I had it, it was oreo ice cream deep fried with a crisp shell of cinnamon and sugar topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. It was huge — and a reasonable price; big enough to split with the hubs.

This is great Thai food at a good price. It’s a fast-food/order-at-the-counter establishment, so don’t expect a fancy dinner. But the food is just as good as you’ll find at «fancier» places, and it’s great for lunch or takeout. You can pick which veggies and meat you want, and they don’t charge extra for each one. If you don’t like spicy food, make sure to get No. 1 for the spice level; anything 3 or above is very hot, especially if you’re not used to it. I found that No. 2 is perfect. I recommend the Pad Se Yu, and the Thai chicken wings are out of this world — spicy and sweet. This place may not be showy like other places in Alpharetta, but the food is good and cheap. Eat here!

We had pad thai and massuman curry with fried rice. The Thai iced tea os OK but not very sweet. I love that you can add your own veggies to anything. The pad thai did not taste like pad thai. It was not sweet at all but tasted like vinegary black pepper. The massuman curry was delicious though and service was excellent.

I’m not a fan of takeout Chinese because it’s too greasy and not fresh. so this place is refreshing. Fresh veggies and cooked to order. You can customize your meals to exactly your liking. I always order ahead of time and it’s always ready when I get there!

This place is a «fast food» Thai establishment meaning walk up to the counter look up and order from a menu. I am a red curry guy. So I pick red curry. Mind you the menu has no photos but rather 1000 plus words. The next question she asks is how do you want your red curry chicken? I wanted to say the way the chef makes it. She said. You need to pick your vegetables. Okay after 20 years of eating red/panang curry I have a choice? She says most folks go all the way. I glanced, all the way is broccoli potatoes etc. I have never had red curry with broccoli and that is not why I eat Thai food to figure out what to cook. So I think… hmm, the red curry I usually have has red and green bell peppers – not on the list. So I ask do you have red and green bell peppers and she says yes. I say they are not on the list and she rolls her eyes. THEN she proceeds to say to say to the couple behind me «yes I know I get folks like this all day long.» Are you kidding me? Maybe you get folks like this all day because your ordering process is broken. Okay this is not a Thai food taste feedback rather a concept/customer service feedback. Not a fan. Too many real Thai places in Alpharetta and no substitute for real service.

Easy fast food Thai in Alpharetta. Is it great? No. Is it bad? No! But it is a quick and relatively healthy alternative to most of the other Chipotle-ish offerings in the area. Having had many of the starters and entrees I’d say the only standout to me is the dumplings. Tasty, plump and served with hoisin they’re really tasty. The rest of the menu is just ok. Pad Thai. Ok. Massaman. Ok. All good, but not great. The good news is they let you pick your ingredients from meats to a bunch of veggies to your personal level of spiciness 1 – 5. Funny story: I call ahead for pickup. I ask for Brown Rice. The girls says, «We don’t have Brown Rice.» I say, «Ok, then white rice.» I get to the store, and I am standing at the cash register where there is a 6 by 10 inch sign that says, «Now Serving Brown Rice». I tell the cashier that I just called and was told there was no Brown Rice. She grabs the sign, turns it over so I can’t see it, and says, «We don’t have Brown Rice.» LOLOL We go to Chad Thai frequently for convenience. The food is just ok. And don’t go for the Brown Rice.

Decided to go here based on good reviews. The staff is very friendly and the place is cute. The food is basically fast food cooked to order Thai inspired food. Ordered the pad Thai and masama curry for entrees. Started with spring rolls and bang bang shrimp. The shrimp was really tasty but hard for it not to taste good with the mayo sauce. The spring rolls are not fresh and we didn’t really care for them. The curry was pretty good but you can tell the chicken is not fresh. The pad Thai on the salty side and not fresh. If looking for fast Asian food, maybe try this place but don’t think it will be excellent

I’ve given Chad Thai a few tries since they opened here in Alpharetta. Each time I leave with the same feeling, it’s okay but not really great, or even very good. The food consistency, in regards to heat, really depends on who is cooking. Sometimes hot is mild, and medium is hot. The staff is usually friendly, service at the counter is always quick. The real deal breaker here are the prices. The prices are really too high for the product and experience here, when the same prices can get you a better, more authentic Thai meal at a full service restaurant. Entrée with a beer runs around $ 15, throw in an appetizer and you’re paying around $ 20 for a lunch for one, that you order at a counter. Think about what $ 20 can get you in Bangkok…

I really wanted to like this place… I really did. A Thai place walking distance from my house? Sounds perfect! Unfortunately, this place fell short of my expectations. The super Americanized menu isn’t normally a giant turn off for me, but this place rubbed me the wrong way. I’ve tried three different entrees here, each of which left me feeling«eh». What finally ended my hopes for chad Thai is when I took my sister here to eat and she found a screw in her food. Yuck! To compensate, they gave me $ 5 off my next meal. Too bad I won’t be returning to redeem that.

I’ve had the chicken lettuce wraps and the chicken pad thai here. First time I has the lettuce wraps they tasted great when I ate in the restaurant. I just had them now for take out and they were just a little bland but overall okay. The pad thai noodles however tasted great. For the amount of food you get and the price yoy pay is great. The service is very nice there as well. Only bad thing is the size of the restaurants and the tables are just a bit sticky.

Good, fresh, fast Thai Food. Went here for lunch to get my Pad Thai fix and was not disappointed. They give you a lot of choices to mix and match protein, veggies and spice level. I got the Pad Thai w/Chicken and added a bunch of veggies cuz that’s how mama raised me, plus I love them. Chicken was a little over cooked but blended in with the noodles well. Saw the Spice level rating. Usually when I get my Pad Thai«Spicy» in other places, it usually is barely hot enough for me. So I figured a 4 out of 5 star spice level rating would probably be right on the money(I actually considered a 5-star spice level for a minute). Well I think I got brave or just underestimated the Chad Thai heat. 4-stars was pretty much an Asian inferno in my mouth. They mean business when it comes to their Spice Levels. I love me some heat but but Chad Thai definitely put me in my place. Next time I’m here, I’m bringing it down to 2-stars & will add more if needed. I would say definitely try it if you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed.(Just be careful when choosing your spice level).

I crave Pad Thai. All. The. Time. So I visited Chad Thai in hopes that this craving would be fully satisfied. And while it was very good, my hunt for the perfect Pad Thai in the greater Cumming area continues. Ordered take out right as they were closing, and the staff was very nice. Bonus. You have the option to add as many veggies as you want to your Pad Thai. Interesting. Still not sure how I feel about what that did to the flavor, but it was interesting nonetheless. Asked for no sprouts because unless they are really cooked through they can be dangerous to me. There were still sprouts in my dish. Flavor was good, but didn’t taste overtly like Pad Thai, which is what I was hoping for. Overall, for the level of restaurant this is and for what it is, it is good. I’d go back. Probably would try something else, but I’d go back.

I called ahead to place a takeaway order. I informed that the boa buns were not available. I ordered the Siam wings. Five wings in a sweet and sour garlic chili sauce. I requested the wings at a spice level of one star. I like the customisation of the entrèes. I ordered, green curry with chicken and shrimp. The shrimp was smaller than I prefer, but the taste of the dish was excellent. For the selection of vegetables, I choose ‘All The Way’ which includes sweet onion, scallion, bell peppers, mushroom, carrot and celery however, I omitted the mushroom and celery. From the additional available vegetables, I requested peas + carrots and bamboo shoots. I requested a two star spice level for the green curry and it was spicy enough to feel the heat on the tongue. White rice is available and so is fried rice for an additional charge. Brown rice is not an option.

Great food ! Awesome service We ordered a stir fry and thin noodles with extra meat. The 3 star spicy level was perfect for me(I love spicy food). I would definitely comeback here for more noodles. Suggestion: try their glass noodles.

Chicken Pad Thai, level 2 heat with a Pork Bao Bun to go, $ 14 lunch. Very good pad thai, spicy and delicious, not the greatest Ive had but tasty mmm. The Pork Bao Bun, not so much, good flavors but there just wasn’t much there there. The service was fine, a bid confused, had to shout my order, its a small but noisy place. It would go a long way if they would read back my order with the price without me asking, which i normally dont do, but it was so noisy in there. Here’s the weirdest part. Ever been in a place where the floor tiles are so slippery you have to concentrate to stay up? Is that my shoes? Dont think so. I sat on a bar stool and it was sliding around too. How weird. Lots of parking, in the Kohls/Target strip mall. Chad Thai is right next to the Firehouse Sub. It was very very good, I would go back.
