Blue Hill Power Equipment

I wanted to give Steve and the crew at Blue Hills Power Equipment a shout out. They are all about service. My husband is heading there to buy a lawn mower but I wanted to share our experience this winter. My 76 year old mother had a snow blower that she bought at a box store and has serviced at BHPE. During one of the severe snow storms it broke and my sister called Steve who showed up at 10pm the same night and took her blower and left a loaner. My sister a few weeks later was using his and it broke down. Steve again came out and have her a loaner which she used until the end of the season. My mothers snow blower may not see another season and you may pay a little bit more at Blue Hill but the service is worth it. You would not get that service anywhere else. And they sell quality products.

I have brought my snowblower and chainsaw to be serviced here for a number of times over the past 20 years. Their work is very good and highly reliable. They’re not the cheapest guys around, but if you want it done right, I’ve learned that this is the place to go. They have a very large local following, so they’re often backed up with jobs to do. Accordingly, the owner is usually super busy, but I’ve always found him to be honest and straightforward.

This a great place to buy any piece of equipment. The service is exceptional and the owner (Steve) is VERY knowledgeable. I will NEVER go to a big box store again… here you are shown how to use your purchase and if a problem develops they are here to help. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I wanted to take the time to review what i consider solid reliable service by Blue Hills Power. Over the last three years I’ve had tractors, chain saws etc all serviced — the owner seems honest, straight shooter about what needs to be done. Only does the work needed. Recently bought a snow blower from him, maybe $ 50 more than the box store would have charged — but for that i got it delivered — already set up — full tank of gas — showed me how to use it and how to take care of it so it lasts. He promised to get it delivered the night before a big storm — about 8pm he finally made — as he promised. Overall you can’t go wrong and your power equipment will be in good hands.

Worst service ever! The owner is incredibly rude, and treats you like trash. Equipment and repairs are way OVER PRICED.

I don’t often enough take the time to write a review when an experience is horrible. I rather praise those who do a good job. However, I have to share with potential future customers that Blue Hill Power Equipment is an absolute disgrace. First off, there prices are consistently higher than most any other place you look. Secondly, and most importantly, is that they are rude and provide dismal customer service, oh and it too is very expensive. I bought a back pace blower and snow blower from them and they still treat me like second class citizen when I call to ask a question about repair. I will never use Blue Hill for anything ever again!!!
