Casual environment. Staff is very friendly. Pizzas are great, although I think they could be more flexible on their policy for substitutions of toppings… Chicken wings are outstanding!

The menu is unique in that the offerings are a twist on the routine«pizza place» The food carried the uniqueness of the establishment. Deliciously different. The pizzas are flash cooked in a super high temperature oven. They are topped with an assortment of flavorful ingredients. Try them all — whites and reds !! The signature salads are worth the trip. Get ready for the treat!

We are gluten free and gluten free pizza is hard to come by. Well I should say GOOD gluten free pizza is hard to come by. Unless you’re at 850. They’re gluten free pizza is THEBEST! I feel like we can actually enjoy pizza again. I also love their arugula salad and their kale salad. We usually do take out and Chris and Danny are always great to deal with at the bar. I have eaten in house before too — love sitting outside — usually the staff is great. Recently we had less then stellar experience with a new young server but I’m not going to hold it against the restaurant — we’ll still come back. Prices are a little high but to me it’s worth it for good brick oven pizza. Just wish they weren’t closed on both Monday AND Tuesday — I can’t tell you how many Tuesdays we’ve said«we’ll get pizza» and then we remember 850 is closed.

Great pizza. Great service. A little slow but Friday night it was acceptable. Very cool atmosphere. We took our kids but would work as a date night or bar sit with friends. We will be back.

First timers. Here visiting from Calif. We dined here with friends on a Friday night around 7pm. The place was hopping. We were seated inside right away. We ordered appetizers; calamari and mozzarella cheese sticks. They were both delicious. The calamari was the best we have had so far and we have dined out for three nights so far. Three ordered the pizza. I ordered the Homemade meatballs. Pizzas were thin crust and toppings were plentiful. Flavor of the meat lovers was really good. The spaghetti had a nice marinara sauce. I was very happy with it. Our cocktails were mixed up at first but then the bartender made them over which we were happy to see. I would definitely recommend this dining experience.

Have visited two times over the last couple weeks. Good food; quality ingredients. Thin crust pizza(one size fits all– approx 13″ round). Calzone is offered only a few days per week and is prepared slightly different in the fact it is deep fried which was a little surprising for a place that has a brick oven. As for service, both occasions there seemed to be more waitresses and waiters than customers. Unfortunately quantity did not equal quality. The friendly staff is young and inexperienced-I’m sure over time this will improve.

The food here is great but the service has been anything but good. We waited several minutes for someone to come to our table and take our order. Then our drinks went to somewhere outside, then eventually made it to us. Our appetizer went to the table next to us, then my husband got his meal and I got nothing for several minutes(I ordered a salad — not too difficult). They were very apologetic but this restaurant has been in business a little too long to be having so many serving problems!

I’ve been coming here since late 2014. Lowering my original 5-star review to 3.5 stars. I’ve eaten at many of the local Alpharetta pizza joints, and I like this place quite a bit. Pizza to me tastes better than its nearest competitor, Campania. The crust is a bit more flavorful. On some nights Campania is better, but 850 °F is more consistently good and the atmosphere and environment is a bit nicer. However, over the past few months, there’s been a lot of turnover in the staff. The warmth of a staff member named Miranda really helped the restaurant, and she’s not there any more as far as I’ve seen. The ingredients don’t seem as vibrant and so the seems to have gone from amazing to just good. Consistency has also dropped a bit. It may just be seasonal differences. The newer staff seem inexperienced, but they’re friendly. During weekdays and weekends it seems a bit quieter, but it is the height of summer, which is not always the best time for pizza :-). The cocktails are still fantastic. I’ll keep coming here, because I think it’s still better than its competitors Campania, Antico, and Crust. I hope my favorite pizza joint smooths out the issues.

I am from Italy. I could write an essay on this jewel, but I shall limit it to this: It is like being in Italy in terms of food, and in America in terms of service and comfort. THEBESTOFBOTHWORLDS. I have looked for something this good for years in the US. Bravo, Barpizza!

Just a quick note– this restaurant is NOT pet friendly, which was disappointing considering it’s a pizza place in a neighborhood setting. We took our 4-lb pup fully prepared to eat outside on the deck(I completely understand not allowing it in the dining room) and they turned us away. Bummer.

Wow. This place just isn’t ready for a Friday night. I’m writing this at the 1 hour and 45 minute mark and still no entrees. Drinks took 25 minutes. Food is ok. I won’t be back.

Delicious, delicious! The meatballs are amazing. And had one of the best salads ever. They have live music from time to time. Listening on their patio is lovely. The gluten free pizza is surprisingly great!

Excellent! Wonderful atmosphere. They have done a great job of creating both a family environment and a trendy outside environment. Our server(Margie) was terrific… attentive and adorable. Caesar Salad was just okay. Mixed Salad was better. Wine list and beer list is fine. Pizza is out of this world! So good. Definitely worth a visit!

Atmosphere was awesome but very loud. Pizza dough soggy… flavor was good though. Meatball were soggy as well. Service was just ok. Food was overpriced and borderline OK. Save your money and eat @ Crust.

Perfection in Crabapple. Ambiance: soft light, reclaimed wood, open kitchen, musicians on warm eves on patio. Service: attentive, warm and intelligent servers, bartenders, chef, and owners. Food: Neapolitan thin crust pizza cooks in 90 seconds. Chef Stefano’s thin crust remains moist and toppings are superbly chosen. Mussels are great too. Danny at the bar has special bourbon concoctions aging in oak casts and a diverse array of craft beers on tap. Ask for a fine whiskey on the rocks and it will be served with a perfect sphere of ice. One of the owners, Nick, oversees cappuccino production on the big boy Italian espresso machine. One of the best espresso drinks I’ve ever had. Magnifico! And best of all, Glenn the other owner is a RedSox fan! Enjoy!

Truly impressed. I don’t know that I’ve seen a restaurant of this caliber outside the perimeter. Pizza was phenomenal. Perfect char on a soft pillowy crust. 850 is the magic number. I’ll definitely be back.

[TL;DR] Loud, Napoletana pizzeria with a down-home pretension. Good food. If you want to eat in the burbs and feel like you’re just inside the perimeter, 850 °F could work for you! Our menu for the evening … Caprese … 8 Penne Spinache(the pasta special) … 15 Spacca Napoli … 13 In-town dining with a suburb drive … priceless(just kidding) On a side note, I’m impressed with how many tables they could fit in this place. I was so close to the dude next to me, I felt like I could feel the dude’s back hair tickling my face. Seriously, it messed with my personal space even though I never found my elbow or fork jabbing him. So … let’s go on about the food then. The caprese was amazing. If I went back, I would order just the caprese. The vinegar dressing was spot on, man. The penne spinache was really good as well. Basically, penne pasta with spinach, mushrooms and pancetta in a cream sauce. Rich, decadent and tasty. As far as the pizza goes, I went with the spacca napoli. It doesn’t indicate that it’s spicy, but the little peppers do add an ounce of heat. The crust is clearly double zero flour as any good pizzeria should use. If you like Italian sausage, this is the one to go with. The bar features a wide selection of wines, as expected. The beer selection isn’t shallow either. 10+ draft beers available with a couple of high gravity. The bottle selection is even bigger. Ultimately, 850 °F might have taken the chef away from Campania, but they weren’t able to capture the Campania coziness. Maybe that was the point.

3.75 stars. Hey this ain’t no Dominos. 850 is trying to do Milton pizza right. This is a convenient location, in a cool little mall-ish kinda townhome communtiy. It’s across the street from the older, more well recognized Blind Dog Pub. Parking is convenient in the lot, and the indoor space is urban chic and well done. A huge bar stretches along the patio windows. The patio is perfect for a nice evening overlooking busy Crabapple Road. I know they’ve had some start up issues, but in my experience the staff is not a problem. Young and energetic servers are professional and get the job done. The place has a decent menu, but I come for the pizza. It’s cooked in a traditional pizza oven for just a few minutes, just like in Italy. But the proof is in the ingredients and the crust… Ingredients on the Magherita DOC are outstandin. Quality tomatoes. Fresh basil. Bufala mozzerella. MMMMM, very nice! 850 gets a knock for the crust in my book, though. As some others have noted, the edges are crispy delicious, but the crust at the center of the pie is a bit soggy. I don’t know what that’s about, but it is the fact, and IMOHO the pizza would rival Antica or similar if they could just sort this out. Make no mistake, though. This minor issue is no reason to go running to a nearby Papa John’s. Clearly 850 is the best pizza in the area, and you will enjoy the ambience, the service and the food. So mangia, e cent anni!

Traditional pizza with a trendy twist. Firstly, what a cute neighborhood and strip mall it’s in! The indoor décor is casual yet classy. The service was very accommodating– when we first arrived, there were no tables available and we were told a half hour wait. Since we were starving, we opted to sit at a bar that faced the wall. Shortly after sitting, a couple tables opened up, and the host happily moved us to a normal table. I recommend getting the truffle fries as an appetizer! As for the pizza, it’s delicious. My favorite part is that the crust is thin, but chewy. I don’t care for really crispy crust. But the margherita pizza was delicious! Look forward to returning next time I’m visiting up there!
