I like this store and has bought some clothes here. They are typical Asian styles and pretty cute. I just wear them for fun during weekend as I can’t wear a lot of fun clothes in office. The lady(owner) is very nice and helpful. Very fashionable too! She would give me tips on coordinating the clothes. The price is pretty decent too, compared to some other Asian clothing stores. The lady will give some discounts sometimes too. They have new styles coming in very often, and I have benn having a good time checking them out once in a while. The downside is that some clothes have been hanging there for a long time so they are collecting dust and don’t look like their best. Well, I guess some styles go quickly and other are less popular.

My friend and I walked into this store while waiting for Pepper Lunch to reopen. Had a few interesting things like shoes, clothes, and makeup, but I didn’t really like any of the styles. There was a lot of Asian makeup, but they had a section of Hello Kitty MAC mascaras which caught my eye, but as I looked closer they all seemed expired and dried up… I’ll pass.

Sarah’s is the newest store in the Milpitas Square complex, sporting a huge GRANDOPENING sign by the top of the entrance, and close to Sweetheart Candies in the corner next to 99 Ranch, and adjacent to Sweetheart right before Sarah’s is this rather uninteresting shop that specializes in electronic Chinese to English Dictionaries(yep one of the original tenants too from 96!). Before Sarah, there was Razo. No this is not a Young Adult romance novel or an Asian/Italian interracial quad body orifice, triple facial BOOKUH-KAA-KAYEXPLOSIVE-FEST-GASM. Razo, or Razo Motorsport Company, used to be a store selling Rice Rocket Accessories, aka Asian dudes and Trendy Asian Biznitchi’s /TABs(aka Gangsta Wannabe’s Girlfriends) who cannot live without customizing their Honda Civics, Accords in order to make them feel bigger and better. I recall in the early 90s, the poorer kids felt better by adding a MUGEN sticker on their Honda, they also slammed their car so it was a foot or two lower, added bazooka speakers to blast Vanilla Ice music, and suddenly they felt their car’s torque and horsepower trippled, yet these guys(to this day) remained the same height even after wearing baggy jeans. Not surprisingly their cars were cruising like a tractors. Literally like in Ice Ice Baby, with the ragtop down so their hair can blow. Sorry but maybe doing it half assed from reading one issue of Import Tuner does not make you a hipster racer, although the cover girl looks nothing like your TABs. For some reason after 11 years, Razo decided to call it quits. Within a relatively short period of time, the new shop on the block, Sarah’s moved in. Today Sarah was closed, which was odd despite the massive Grand Opening sign. Yes it was a Tuesday, and they along with E-Noodle decided that today was the day of rest. Sarah’s based on the window display and what Iittle I could make out of the interior from peering through the window, is a store that caters to primarily Asian females, from the obvious colorful fancy brassieres and some wacky looking accessories and what looked to be gadgets that might arguably be cheaper at those dollar type Daiso stores. The left side of the entrance door, were some displays of their bras, and also a poster of a very pretty Caucasian female model wearing said bra, advertising the brand in Chinese. This could very well be some European or not so well known brand(here in the US anyway) trying to market their warez to Taiwanese women(like they do at department stores in Taipei). But think about it for a moment. Isn’t that wacked? If their target market are Chinese/Taiwanese women, shouldn’t they get one of their kind to model for the poster? Is it because the Caucasian woman has bigger *booozies*, or is it subliminal advertising from the bra company from savvy marketing directors, that if Taiwanese men buy this kind of bra for their women to kick it up a notch or two on the futon, that they too could have the Caucasian experience(or at least fool the men into thinking that their wives will suddenly go blonde in the sack?). Is there a return policy for those that may complain«oh my gal didn’t act like Paris or Britney in bed, I wanna 200% refund»? Well anyways, this may be a one or half stop shop for women who may or may not buy something more beyond bra’s and other clothes/fashion/things. There was a store just like this in San Gabriel Square(sister mall to Milpitas Square), that is still in business since I last passed by after labor day. I guess some Taiwanese expat females do still want to dress like how they did while living back there.
