It saddens me how customer service at this place have left me no choice but to go to any bakery but here. To sum it up I had pre-ordered a cake ahead of time and they gave me the wrong cake. I ordered a white cake and I received a chocolate cake. When I called them after we cut the cake to share the mishap they simply told me they realized it afterwards but I had already left the store. Geez was it too hard for them to pick up the phone and call me since my order form with my phone number was probably still right in front of them? No apologies or anything. In fact, the manager(Asian dude) didn’t even know how to have a conversation with me and instead asked what me what he is expected to do??? How about apologizing! Ugghh I’m over getting the wrong cake for my nephews birthday but I can’t get over how incompetent the management team run this place.

This is the 2nd Strawberry Fresh Cream Cakes I had ordered from here for a special occasion. Back in March I had to ordered a quarter sheet cake for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary and the cake was delicious. The only bad thing about that time was that I was told that they didn’t have a cake box for the 12 inches cake I wanted to order so I had to order the next size up which was a quarter sheet size which left us with so much left over afterward. This time however after stopping in person last Saturday to place an order for the 12 inches Strawberry Fresh Cream Cake for a BD and fully paid for it with the person in charge writing up the sale transaction. Today after 10am, I was on my way there to pickup the cake and head to SJ, but I received a call and was told that I had to pay $ 5 extra for the strawberry. Why must they waited until I was on my way to pick it up to tell me that now. Since I need the cake for the special occasion today, I wasn’t about to refuse. I agreed to pay $ 5 extra so she said that my cake won’t be ready until after 12pm. Knowing that the cake was freshly made today after 10am so I was expecting it to be extremely fresh and moist like previous time. After we cut into the cake tonight, I was so disappointed to hear that everyone like the cake but thought the cake itself was on the dried side. I totally agreed with everyone that the cake was dried and its lack strawberry. I thought that the cake was not worth the $ 85 I paid for this 12 inches Strawberry Fresh Cream. I will have to seriously look for another pastry for the special cake occasions and would not be coming back here again plus I would not recommend this place to anyone.

If you want writing on a cake, you have to put in a request 24 hours in advance. For a $ 37 cake, I was expecting it to taste amazing. The green tea chiffon cake wasn’t great and had too much fresh cream in it. There was even frosting in the center of the cake which I wasn’t a fan of. I probably won’t be purchasing my cakes here in the future.

Came here with my friends on a Saturday afternoon and was really impressed by how bright and pretty the interior of this restaurant was. I felt like I was in another city, especially since the outside of this plaza is so drab. They have a large selection of baked goods, cakes, drinks, and desserts. I ended up getting the red bean donut, strawberry cake, opera cake, and fresh berry crème brûlée. The strawberry cake here is super moist, and soft. It was a bit pricey at $ 3, but it was so soft and melted in my mouth. The opera cake here is delicious, there are layers of fresh cream, with a slight hint of coffee /tiramisu flavor, a layer of peanut butter ?? On the top and covered in a chocolate ganache, I would buy an entire cake for a birthday or an event. The crème brûlée was $ 6, but comes in a nice glass that is reusable. Definitely stop by here if you are in the area. The opera cake is bomb.

Got a cake from here a long time ago and it was pretty good. Very rich and very sweet as most Chocolate cakes are. Came here a few weeks ago with the parents and mom really wanted to get a few pastries. She usually goes to 85 degrees weekly to stock on breakfast items so it was time to try something different. First thing we noticed is how much more expensive things are here. Also, they didn’t have a lot of bun like pastries that would be good on the go. A lot of pastries also looked over sweet and had way too much toppings. She got a few things and I got 2 coffee drinks which was not too bad… reason for 2 stars. Won’t be coming here any time soon for pastries. Not really worth the trip for us but it was packed with a lot of youngsters.

Decent coffees. High-quality baked goods: good texture and not too sweet. I’ve been here a dozen times but I never see the any baguettes though, which is odd. Nice atmosphere with open, spacious seating. Large parking lot with plenty of parking. Pastries can be pricey but is worth it if you can appreciate the difference.

Paris Baguette is a good bakery when you want a snack or a light lunch. I always find myself here for an afternoon pick-me-up. Their boxed sandwiches are perfect for those on the go meals and are a nice alternative to the banh mis that I always buy. This location has a good selection of pastries, and they’re always bringing out more throughout the day to replenish the older products. I’m quite fond of their original Royal Puddings which is light and airy, it’s like a flan flavored mousse. They also have mango, raspberry, and coffee flavored puddings as well. The cakes here are quite tasty, they’re not too sugary and look really cute. They also come with a bonus cake cutter with candles to celebrate any occasion. If you check in on Unilocal they occasionally toss in a free chocolate chip twist, or have another promotional item. They also have different monthly sales and seasonal pastries as well.

The 4 stars are for their cakes and pre-packed sandwiches. I love Korean style cakes because they are not diabetes-sweet and dense like western cakes, they are rather soft and fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness. The decoration is just perfection, you eat with your eyes first, and these are deliciously artistic!
I like their boxed sandwiches, perfect for on-the-go meals and they are way better than what you can get from Starbuck or other coffee/bakery places. Their pudding desserts are really good as well, but a bit on the sweeter side and a bit too liquidy. However I have to give 3 stars for their variety of breads. I’ve had much better Asian bakery breads in SoCal. In comparison, breads at Paris Baguette are more doughy, in all their varieties, especially the donut breads.

I’ve noticed this location runs out of cronuts and other pastries pretty early, or they don’t make anymore by afternoon. Both of my after work visits resulted in no cronuts. Lucky for me, they’re not my favorite. Don’t get me started on pine nut bread shortages at 85C gah. I missed the French pudding glasses though. I’ve tried original, mango, strawberry, mocha? They’re all good. Smooth pudding up top, and super sweet brown sugar syrup on the bottom. Try the top by itself and then mix, or not if you don’t want it too sweet. Green tea chiffon cake slice! Light and fluffy with subtle green tea flavor garnished with simple whipped cream, white chocolate curls, and a lime wedge? Not sure what that was about, both green? Mango mousse was ok, had a crust bottom. Location is clean and well kept. Sad they discontinued the Velvet teas. I tried the almond one, tasted like a milk tea after mixing! No complaints about the payment process, workers are friendly and knowledgable. Be careful in the parking lot, the path is kind of rounded in front of the stores instead of straight edged so other drivers might block you when attempting to turn into the parking aisle.

I have been a frequent customer to this location. I get all of my birthday cakes for work and personal occasions here and I think the baked goods are delicious. However, I no longer trust this location. I have tried ordering a cake over the phone and have had to give my credit card over the phone to place the order. Then what came next was the associate repeating the credit card number back to me while I hear lots of background noise of people. No protection of privacy??? So after that incident, I only place my orders in store. This past week, I placed a specific cake order for my mom’s birthday to be picked up only 2 days later and paid in advance for the cake. I sent my husband to pick up the order 2 hours after the indicated pick-up time. He waited at the store while they try to find the cake and then came back to him to say they cannot find the cake order. They look at their records of cake orders and lo and behold, they FORGOT about this order. They tell my husband that he can pick another cake flavor since they don’t have any of the flavor we ordered(seriously???) so he has to wait another 15 or so minutes for the cake, and overall spends 30 minutes there. What a waste of time. He asked for a refund or a discount because we couldn’t even get the cake flavor we ordered and paid for in advance but the store would not honor either options. Paris Baguette, you have lost me as a customer and I will no longer be recommending you to my colleagues and friends and family as a reliable bakery.

Nice store, a good amount of seating, but not super comfortable(their chairs/couches). It’s also little disappointing that it seems like every time I come, they have much less options for bread and cake, than all the other Paris Baguettes. Service is also not as nice as the one in Sunnyvale. Glad there’s one closer to me now, but I think I would rather drive out to the Sunnyvale/Santa Clara store to get my PB fix if I have to, especially since their stuff is not cheap.

Great place to get birthday cakes for their aesthetic appeal. They are a few bucks pricer than Sheng Kee or Kee Wah(so high $ 30 – 40), but make for fabulous photos and happy recipients. PB also throws in candles and a cake cutter that includes matches. How convenient! I’ve had their tiramisu cake which is scrumptious, and their green tea chiffon cake which is good but too creamy. One of my other favorite items here is the Royal Pudding in Mango flavor. In comparing it with the Original, its more refreshing and has a better fruit flavor than the Strawberry. At $ 3+ for a tiny portion, its really like eating glorified crème brûlée custard without the carmelization, but the cute bottles get me every time! Their cronuts are ok if you have never tried a real cronut before, like myself. Service is usually very prompt and I love the little Parisian costumes. Some stores have end of the day specials, but I am not as enamored with PB anymore to figure out if this one does.

Paris Baguette is kinda strange. It has Korean origins, does Euro style pastries/breads, but also does Asian inspired baked goods, that has stores world wide. Confused? Good, me too. Came in one evening to finally check one of these out, arrived around 8:30pm looking for dessert and tea, after having dinner in the same strip. The place was still bustling with customers but totally in closing mode because the shelves were 95% bare. Strange. But still were able to try a few things. Opera Cake from their cold case was pretty good. It is kind of a French version of a tiramisu(flavorwise) but it is prettier and has more texture(crunch). Great with coffee or tea. Raspberry/Cheese pastry was one of two items left from their room temp selection. Was worried that it might be stale from being so late in their operations, but still pretty good. The pastry was flaky, somewhat butter-y and a good ratio of filling to bread. I’d get this again. Castella sponge cake is a pre-wrapped cake product. It is a really light sponge, like the crumb of the cake was champagne fine, very smooth. The butter flavor wasn’t in your face but suffice. Sweetened with honey is a plus, though you don’t really«taste» honey. I got extra to eat at home with berries and cream, so good. What I really like about their product(in the few that I had), is that their sugar content is very low for dessert standards. I might even go as far as saying that it is well below the average, of what Americans are used to. Great for me, but maybe not others. But the space leaves me out in the cold… literally. Lots of polished tile, lots of mirrors, lots of glass windows and doors, lots of bright lighting. So the ambiance gets translated as loud and cold. Not my cup of tea, especially whilst relaxing with some tea. And the coldness conveys to the service, where it is straight up order, pay, sit then leave. But I’m sure I’ll be back because it is not too often I find a place that hits the sweet spot for my not-so-sweet tooth.

so I came to this Paris Baguette last weekend with my family to pick up my birthday cake. it was for a lunch celebration with the relatives that was held in Milpitas at my parents’ house. my guy had previously ordered it over the phone for me cuz he knows how much I love their cakes compared to other bakeries! they r never too sweet n always the perfect ratio of cake to cream. I’ve come into this location to eat their Pat Bing Soo(Korean shaved ice) with my mom before. we ordered the red bean one n it was HUGE! we couldn’t even finish between the two of us. the Paris Baguette at the Milpitas location is probably the one I like the least out of all of the ones in the Bay Area. it’s just as large n wide open as the other ones, but it’s too dim on the inside. I believe that’s cuz the front entrance is facing the wrong direction. I like the feel of a bright open space. it’s located in a small plaza next to a Grocery Outlet n a SGD Tofu House on Calaveras Blvd. parking can b tight if u go during lunch n dinner hours. I recommend to order their cakes a few days ahead to get them fresh on the day u pick it up.

Don’t understand the bad reviews. This place is pretty good and the workers are nice! Maybe in the past they were new and ran more like a corporation where everything is by the rules, no this, no that, can’t this. Nobody like that. but when the services are good and accommodating, people will come back. Andy, is a great at the cashier + making coffee. Anyways, like this spot for work, hangouts and the deserts.

Paris is quite chic when you come in. I like their high back chairs, they look super comfy. Their pastries however can be a hit or miss. I’ve been to several of their location, but this one seems to lack the quality of the other location. Not sure why, but their service overall is pretty good. This place also gets super busy because it is not far from The Great Mall and parking can be a challenge even with all the sports at the lot. PS — they do have 20% discount on sandwiches and ready made food after a certain time of the day before closing. Take adavantage of it. It’s a great deal. Until then, Cheers! ~ :p

3 ½ stars, because their service is typically so slow! But otherwise, great selection of pastries, drinks, and desserts. And I ALWAYS buy their cakes for events. Drinks: I love their green tea latte. I don’t like sweet coffee/drinks though, but my boyfriend loves their salted mocha. Pastries: Depending on the time, they may be really fresh or partially stale, so look out for that. Cakes: THEIRCAKESARETHEBEST. Shall I repeat? AMAZING. They may seem on the more pricey side($ 35 – 40), but they are worth it trust me. The green tea is my favorite, with the strawberry as a close second. The blueberry is good too though. All are nicely decorated and use whipped frosting, not that gross sugary tasting ones many other cakes use. You can order in advance or pick it up on the spot from whatever they have available in the case. They have nice candles for sale, but they also come with complementary ones. COMEHEREFORYOURCAKES. Parking can be horrible because it’s in a complex with many other thriving businesses, but just park across the lot if you can’t get a close one.

When Paris Baguette first opened, I could not get enough of their pastries, especially their croissants. I tried as many varieties as I could(chocolate, cheese, fruit, twists) and liked them better in comparison to the store bought croissants I was used to eating. But as I tried authentic French bakeries, like Alexander’s Patisserie, I was less impressed with PB. Their cakes are ok, but with the prices they charge, I expect them to be great. I would get a cake here if I was in a pinch, but not my first choice. I also came here because they had the famous cronuts. I tried both the strawberry and mango and was very disappointed in both. As for service, it is pretty fast and efficient. However, the place gets crazy busy, especially on the weekends. Usually about 1 – 2 hours before they close, they don’t have a lot of the popular items so it’s not the best time to go if there’s something in particular you want. All in all, PB is good if I wanted a quick fix for my pastry cravings. But if I wanted something really great, I would go elsewhere.

Came in to get a birthday cake for my sister and I was already impressed just by walking in. It is really nice inside and there is a good amount of sitting/table area. If you have ever been to 85 Degree Bakery or even Portos in SoCal, this place doesn’t compare. It is smaller and they do not have as much variety than those two. However, the cake we bought was delicious! It was a fruit-filled vanilla cream cake which was not too sweet! My fave. They also give you a cake slicer and matches if you plan to have candles. Also, they gave us a free thermos for our purchase! Not sure if they do that all the time though…
