I would consider this to be Milpitas most beautiful park. Secluded, but adjacent to some residential housing, it’s visited most often when the adobe is rented on weekends and the guests venture out. Summer weekday evenings are the best time to come; when you’re most likely have the entire park to yourself. There are twenty parking spaces located near the adobe, with well kept bathrooms nearby. A large, grass field is perfect for soccer. Picnic tables are located in shady spots along Calera Creek, and there is a play area for children. The backdrop is a panorama of the mountain hillside, and the cactus grove is awesome. The only negative, since the park may be rented out, is that you’ll have to cede your fun to the paying guests.

I would have given this hall five stars however, because it was rented out this past weekend, the heater should have been turned on. The building itself is pretty cool. It is situated in a park and has its own parking lot. The kitchen is small but it is a full kitchen and I like that they have nicer and cleaner bathrooms inside of the hall. It is also near open grass where cows are roaming around. There is a small dried up creek as well. Because they have such an open grass field, we played football. Tons of fun!

Really wish there were more swings at this park, it’s not an adequate park without some swings IMO. The positives though is that the park can be rented from the city for parties. There are BBQ’s, lots of tables, and ample parking so a summer bash would be good here. Just be sure to reserve your date or else you can be kicked out if someone has a reservation and you don’t.
