Amy is the sweetest. I have acne prone skin with blk heads and throughout the past year she has helped clear up my skin little by little. I wouldn’t say my skin is flawless but she does recommend me products that are good for my skin in the long run, especially my acne scars has diminished with the routinely continuance use along with treatment every two weeks. Just go and she will start off out by observing the condition of your skin and move from there. Highly recommend.

Please avoid this place if you cannot tolerate the pain that she will give you. There is no gentleness when she applies the product on your face and she starts cleaning your blackhead as soon as she turns on the steaming machines without giving the time for the pores to open up.

The worst facial experience ever! I arrived 5 minute early so Amy showed me into a small, dimly lit room and told me to change and that she would need me to wait a little. Ok, that’s fine, I’ll just lay down and play with my phone. 10,20,30 minutes go by and I was still waiting… I could hear her gossiping with her firiend in the other room(it’s just one big space with half-assed walls) I went to the other room to ask her how much longer it would take, and she looked at her watch and said«oh» and stopped working with her friend. Not even a sorry. Ok finally getting my skin worked on, great! Popped a bunch of pimples and it hurt like hell, more so than other facials I’ve gotten. While it’s supposed to hurt, she was extremely rough with my skin. She then puts on a mask and I ask if she’s going to do a little massage. She says because she popped my pimples she doesn’t, but she’s going to give me 15 min for free. I mean she better, she kept me waiting for 30 minutes(and now I read on a different review that she does do it for other clients. what a jip) I lay there for almost 30 minutes, face covered up while she takes personal phone calls and reschedules her clients, walking past me not even to check up on me. By this point I was furious. I was so close to ripping my mask off and leaving until she walks back and starts massaging my shoulders WITHHERPHONEINTHEOTHERHAND. She would slow down or stop to answer a text or God knows what she’s doing back there. All I know is that I just wanted this miserable experience to be over with. DONOTGET A FACIALHERE. I AMSOFRUSTRATED. She’s dishonest and unattentive and the worst esthetician ever. I cannot believe she still has clients and definitely favors her friends. WORSTWORSTWORST.

I came here for Anti Acne Treatment. Reasonable parking space, and easy access. I made an appointment the day before, and this was my first facial ever. The facial room is a little on the dark side, but it becomes lit up once you get started. I must say the blackhead and acne extraction was painful. But who on earth can extract stuff from your face without inducing even a little pain? I didn’t complain and let Amy do her stuff. The pore shrinking mask was the last and most pleasant part of the experience. Amy also did a mini massage for my shoulders once she helped me up — that was so good. Payment was easy, since she has a credit card machine. I come home and observe myself– my nose has never been free-er of blackheads. I just hope the acne ‘scars’ will go away in about 2 weeks. It would’ve been nicer if I could be confident she had prepared the room with fresh, clean linen — I have no clue, since it was already prepared and set up when I got there. I guess I’m a little OCD about that.

Becareful. This business is not very clean and would dump dirty water to the first floor. Doesn’t matter if there are ppl under their business. I wonder what kind if business can’t flush the water down their own drain but would dump it on outside pedestrians. Would not allow these rude ppl to get close to my skin. Would you?

Amy is fantastic. She’s located in Ulferts Square right next to Milpitas Square and across from a myriad of Cisco buildings, so it’s a great post-grocery shopping or lunch break spot. I’ve had pimple problems and she really gets in there and gets all the gunk out. It hurts when she does it, but afterwards, even with all the redness, you feel and look so much less congested. And that’s the point of a facial, right? Without the extractions, you’re just paying someone to wash your face. Prices are higher than some of the other spots in the south bay, but the ambiance is nicer and her extraction technique is superb — seriously, she’s highly recommended. Last time I went, she even threw in a free eye brow shaping.

I was looking for a new facial place near my work and I found Amy Skin care in Ulfert Center. She is amazing. Now my skin is glowing and I get many compliments. During facial you usually just lay there 15 — 20 minutes while your mask is doing it’s work. She started massage my arms and hands and back to my neck. This is additional to the facial and neck/shoulder massage. It’s so relaxing. Not many places massage your scalp during a facial. She does that too. ITISWONDERFUL!!!

I have been a loyal customer to Amy’s skin care for over 3 years now. Amy is professional & knowledgeable about skin care. She is very detail oriented when she works on my face, and would explain to me how to improve the condition of my skin. Depending on different seasons, she would use different kind/type of facial mask accordingly. My skin improved a lot, and often receive compliments from other people. I would recommend Amy to everyone.
