I wanna issue a public service announcement here. But that would be more like leading the publics opinion. So I’ll abandon that path. This was my second time purchasing food from this place. I really wanted to like this business because I think that there’s a shortage of cooked seafood places. When I was coming up, they were everywhere and all pretty good. Well, I passed three of my favorite lunch spots in the area to come have lunch here, despite having a meal that I wished that I had never gotten on my first visit. I was just hoping that they were having a bad day. So I entered this place on Saturday and there was only one customer in there waiting on his order. Ever see Mr Roper on Three’s Company? Well that who this guy looked like. He was looking really annoyed and impatient. I don’t know how long he was there, but the girl who took my order told me that it would be 20 minutes. A bit long, but ok. 20 minutes later, Mr Roper is still waiting along with me when they tell him that it would be another 10 minutes… Another 15 minutes and both of our orders came out at the same time. The place was about as uncomfortable as can be and not an inviting environment. I thought the same thing the last time I was there. Seemed more like a money grab. Seriously, not a word spoken in this place in 40 minutes. So I take my order and go. 4 pieces of chicken and fries. I suspect that they chased the chicken around for 20 minutes before they caught it and tossed it in the fryer… While I can appreciate food cooked fresh when I order, I can’t feel great about wasting 40 minutes of my time and getting a horrible meal. The chicken and fries both looked great. But tasted like it was cooked in burnt oil that should have been recycled a long time ago. Disgusting and not edible at all. The fish combo that I bought on my previous visit was similar and over fried. Lunch time only comes once a day, and I hate getting a bad meal which equates to throwing my money away. I really wanted to like this place, but there’s no debating in this case. I won’t be back.

Ever wonder what fish would taste like if it was burnt to an absolute blackened crisp? Worry no longer, Mulford’s will show you.

I see this place all the time and never had a chance to go. So one night while debating on BIM’s pizza or this place I decided to go here. I was greeted warmly by the cashier and the place was clean and did not have any offensive odors. I decided to try their one pound of meat cheese steak. Its actually a whole sub with half pound on each side. To say the least it was good I have no complaints. I plan on trying the menu more due to the extensive list of sea food. So lets see where it goes! It was also 5 bucks plus tax but worth it in my opinion.
