Bogarts Books & Café is one of the best coffee houses you could wander into. It is on a Main Street in the middle of Millville NJ. It is very eclectic, fun, & social. A not to be missed spot & not out of the way at all… a short trip off 55 as you are heading to the shore or back to the city. You have a huge selection of espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, coffees, teas & cold drinks too… all handcrafted by excellent baristas. There is a whole market of coffee related goods as well. You can get any type of flavor you want added to your coffee… they have dozens — the Spiced Brown Sugar is NOT to be passed up. They have food items as well like salads, soups and small sandwiches. The scene is loaded with musicians at all times and there is live music on many of the nights & afternoons. It is also a book store and the book store is full of used & new books so it offers you a massive variety. They are moving to a new location in a short bit(beginning of March 2016) so we just need to look for them only a couple storefronts down on the same street opposite the LeVoy Theater & ElQuacomole & Winfield Restaurants. The shop is going to have the same feel as the current one now I have been told and I’m sure it will hold the same magic! Looking forward to the new owners but DEFINITELY gonna miss my Spiced Brown Sugar Latte PERFECTLY prepared by Amy!

Books don’t seem to be the main focus on the store — it was busy but most people were enjoying the café. Still, I was excited to find a decent used bookstore. They have a nice selection of used books and seem to have a decent credit program, but I’m one of those weirdos who wants to build her book collection not trade them in(except for my cheap Christian romance novels, which their trade-in policy says they don’t accept).

Very nice medium size bookstore which mainly includes second hand books fir exchange and sale. The coffee shop inside the store is lovely and offers valuable time to spend with even antique books. I found here a 1970 novel about the Turkish Independence War of 1923. Fascinating and deserves a full day to spend for book lovers.

I like Bogart’s, but the system of trade-ins and credits and book purchasing is still VERY confusing to me. I can bring in $ 200 – 300 worth of books, get a credit arranged by some arcane system of re-buying, and then have to go thru another system of trade credits and cash payments and it’s all confusing to me. The staff are nice and friendly, but it’s more of a «chick» place than a man hangout. Sometimes they have what I’m looking for, and always offer to order me a book. I like the idea of spending locally, and my biggest wish is that it was about 2 – 300 sq ft bigger and had more books. And as long as I’m wishing– a parking lot out back. Street parking is a Russian roulette kind of thing on High St. You take your life in your hands there.

This is just the best little bookshop. I live about an hour away now, which makes visits a bit tricky, but Bogart’s remains my go-to used bookstore/exchange. Bogart’s credit is great and there are so many awesome finds here. I can’t vouch for the other portions of the store, as my stops have always solely focused on the books, but I’d highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

Bogarts is the only book store in Cumberland County. This is not the place to purchase the latest Danielle Steele novel, but then again, who wants to? The exchange system is wonderful. They carry lots of local interest books. Many extol the coffee bar, but I have no idea. Bogarts is active on Facebook, which is nice to see. There is lots of music played at the store. Bogart’s is an anchor on Third Friday.

Bogarts is an awesome place to spend some time reading and socializing. It is almost like Barnes and Noble, but with a hometown feel. They have a policy where you receive up to 75% off the listed price when you trade in old books. Most of the books are used but in good condition. The prices are wonderful as well as the coffee and company. Sometimes they have music as well as great seating in the heart of the downtown Arts district. Their claim to fame is over 140,000 titles. Check ‘em out. You won’t be disappointed.

I love Bogart’s. I remember when it was Wind Chimes Book Exchange; in fact, I worked there over 20 years ago. What Bogart’s has done with the place is what I always imagined the bookstore could be: brightly painted, local art on the walls, open areas with comfy seats, coffee bar, even live music & poetry on weekend evenings. The actual book selection is much better than back in my day; fewer cheap, tawdry romance/thriller novels(altho’ those still abound) and a larger, wonderful mix of classic and contemporary fiction. Nice kids’ section too. Particularly attractive is the outside of the building, all pink and purple which is so inviting. I always stop by every time I’m back in town and buy plenty!

Bogarts, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways… Was there a few weeks ago and you broke my heart by not having a single book I was looking for. I thought you had forsaken me. Alas, I was patient and hit the jackpot when I returned this weekend. The children and I stopped by while they were having live music on Saturday night(when we were supposed to be in church– naughty, naughty!) The kids were having so much fun laying around on the beanbag chairs reading in the children’s section, I didn’t get them home for their normal bedtime. The little one loved sitting in the coffee area watching the performer singing and playing his recorder and guitar. We had a great time. Bogarts fed my book addiction. Sweet. And the store is a perpetual work in progress and looks better every time I visit. Nice. Don’t Bogart that book!
