I tried this place for the first time a few months ago. I wanted a new place that had a variety of nail polishes, did a great job with gel manicures, and paid attention to details. The lady I got on my first visit was so bad at painting nails. I was too shy to complain, so I walked out without saying anything. I went back a few months later, thinking maybe it was just the lady I had that made my experience bad. I was paired with another lady and she did a wonderful job. She didn’t smile or speak much, but her attention to detail was great! I just went back for a mani and pedi for a wedding and got the lady from my first visit. She was again so horrible at painting nails. I got a manicure and pedicure. She clumped the nail polish on too thick causing it to not dry properly. When I asked her to cut my cuticles again, she waved her hand at me to stop me from talking and said i’ll do it… She obviously did not know how to work the cuticle cutter because she was pulling firmly at my fingers and caused me to bleed. Instead of letting me dry my bloody finger, she painted right over the blood… I was so unhappy with my nails that I will never go back. They charged 36 for a pedicure and manicure and it definitely was not worth my experience. I went with my mom and her nails turned out so good. Needless to say, a business is only as good as their worst employee. And I’m only giving one star because I have to in order to post this review.

I’m with the only other review of this place by Sandy O. I too caught a high from the fumes. Now, I’ve only gotten a few pedicures over the years, but maybe they just do it differently in South Jersey? My pedicures in NYC and North NJ are the same price as here($ 25) but I’m used to being in a chair for close to an hour. Here? I was done within 20 minutes. The guy basically ‘mimed’ trimming my nails or pushing back my cuticles. This place sucked ass. Had my friend not suggested meeting here to pedicures(she likes it here!!!) I probably would have turned around. No wonder the place is so huge and empty.

I should have walked out the moment I walked in. But, I’m too nice and I hate to be rude. They greeted me as soon as I walked in. The chemical fumes made me high after being in there for a few minutes. The polishes are old and they lack a variety of colors. I picked a bright pink color for the summer. I asked for a mani and pedi. The pedi chair was okay but it looked old. The whole place was dusty, which makes me think it’s not really clean — so why would the instruments be clean? Oh well, I was taking my chances today because I was already there and didn’t want to be rude by walking out. The only guy in the shop did my services. His massage was really strong but his nails were long! When he was doing pressure on my feet it was actually painful because his nails were long. Then I was hoping that he didn’t have dirty fingers because I don’t want to end up with some kind of skin infection. The polish I picked out looked great, so I stuck it out. He didn’t speak English, so it was hard for me to tell him to go lighter. I think he could tell by my body language and me pulling my feet back because he started to do lighter pressure and less with his nails! Then he picked up my polish, walked over to his mani station and added acetone or some other liquid to the polish bottle. This just weird me out because when they do that, the polish is altered and it doesn’t last as long. It also has a weird matte finish. He was very sloppy with the base coat and the top coat, so the polish also has an uneven color. But I guess that’s what you get for a $ 32 mani/pedi combo. I was shocked how cheap it was when I left. Still, I’d rather pay a little more and have a cleaner place with more quality products. Ugh. Well, next time I am in there area for work, I will be sure not to go here.
