It’s a labyrinth of serendipitous discovery — especially when you find the Room of Books!
When I stopped in yesterday, I found a framed copy of Charles Joseph Minard’s astonishing graph of «Napoleon’s March to Moscow» (published in 1859, and as seen in Edward R. Tufte’s classic book «The Visual Display of Quantitative Information»).
They also had a large glass samovar that would have been right at home on the set of «Doctor Zhivago». Now I just have to find some Russian Caravan tea to brew in it…
