I think the older reviews are dragging this place down – It is apparently under new management and it is much, much better than the other Mexican places in Millington. If you’ve been before but not lately, please, PLEASE try it again. The service is friendly and the food is great.

Replaces an old favorite of mine. This place is not bad, but it also isn’t good. This restaurant occupies a former restaurant’s space in Millington, with just a few minor décor changes inside. The space here was never an issue. Suits the stereotypical American Mexican restaurant look. Nice bar(though I’ve never seen anyone at it). Staff have always been a problem at this location. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that ownership has changed, so the staff are just as flippant and aloof as they have been in the past. I have never been here where I actually got refills or chips that I asked for until right before we were leaving. Unfortunate. The saving grace is their food. It’s nothing awe inspiring, mind you… but it is good and it scratches an itch. The menu consists of Mexican restaurant staples as well as a few niche items for the area. A great change from the previous restaurant in this location. This place doesn’t seem to be catching a lot of speed, though. I am not seeing a lot of business there, even during peak times. That may be a good thing if you’re in a rush for some Mexican at peak dinner hours ;) Overall, not an amazing Mexican place. But also not a bad one. If you’re looking for something super chic, maybe try somewhere else. But if you just want your run-of-the-mill place, this is it and it’s definitely not a bad choice!

This place is a pretty standard Mexican restaurant. If they want to compete with Los Reyes just a couple buildings down, they’ll need to definitely improve on their service. It was some of the slowest service I had received but the food was actually really good.
