Their wait time was a little long, but their hangover breakfast wrap was really spicy and delicious!

Grabbed a cup of coffee Thursday afternoon. Their hours vary, so it’s best to call ahead and confirm that they’re opened. The barista told me their hours are mostly 7a-9p M-F, and 7a-4p Saturday and Sunday. BUT, they may open an hour late at 8a during the weekday, and close as early as 2p on weekend. Need to try more stuff here, and report back.

In short: Javateas is a nice place. Worth a visit if you’re in town and looking for a hot cup of coffee, but don’t go out of your way to visit. First, It’s not a chain coffee shop so that is a plus. It is nice to have a mom and pop coffee shop on campus. So in that respect I hope it stays around. The food is typical coffee shop food, and it is good. However, the downside is that it can be a little on the pricey side. I don’t think I would make Javateas somewhere I would frequent for lunch but it is nice for an occasional visit. I love Gelato, don’t get me wrong, but I am not a fan of Javateas. Last time I got it it seemed old and I wasn’t impressed. It seems like something that probably just doesn’t sell well in an area like Millersville. The coffee is probably the best thing they do. Which is a good thing.(A coffee house without good coffee is pretty worthless.) The price is pretty standard for coffee as well. My biggest gripe about Javateas is the size. It is tiny inside, and when there are a lot of people there it can feel claustrophobic. Something I like about a coffee shop is the ability to sit around and talk, but that can feel strange when your within breathing distance of the people next to you. Besides that the atmosphere of the place is nice, it is put together nicely. Overall, a nice place and I do recommend it though I think it would serve them better to find a bigger place to run their shop out of.

This place is all right. It’s been in Millersville maybe two years. The buffalo chicken wrap is good. It’s typical light fare. Coffee’s and drinks similar to any other coffee shop.

I popped into this new establishment because it was only a short walk away from my collegiate sister’s apartment. The place has a cool coffeehouse atmosphere. Coffee was good, and they had several flavored varieties available. Many bonus points as they carry local favorite Maple Doughnuts. They also have a large gelato selection — extremely rare in Pennsylvania. Place was clean and service was speedy. They give 10% to Millersville students and staff. Two thumbs up!
