My husband and I spent a wonderful afternoon at Doughty Valley Winery!
We were welcomed immediately upon entering the Swiss Inn, by the owners wife. Very sweet lady who explained each of their wines. My husband loved the Pinot, while I truly enjoyed the Catawba. We also enjoyed a wonderful lunch, overlooking their beautiful, quiet backyard pond. Their Bistro offers a great selection of sandwiches, most using their Guggisberg cheese. Of course, they were fabulous!!! (Hubby had the Reuben and I had a ham and Swiss grilled cheese that was served with a sunny side up egg on it — delicious and so different than standard fare)
We’ll definitely be back to enjoy this wonderful gem!
