My aunt took a picture in for framing and was told it would cost $ 68.00 — which she thought was a little high but she opted to go forward with the framing. When she went back to pick the picture up, she was told the price had gone up to $ 98.00! She refused to pay more than what was originally agreed to and the owner backed down. When she tried to pay by credit card, the owner told her he preferred cash or check because the credit card company would take 20% of the total — which we all know is absolutely not true as they take between 2% — 3%, certainly not 20%! She refused to accept his story, but mysteriously the card machine didn’t work and she had to pay by check instead. I feel strongly this owner tried to dupe my aunt, and would not recommend anyone seek his services. Find another framer!
