This place is one of my favorites! The hibachi is amazing here and so are just the regular sit down tables. At the hibachi bar, the environment is public and very friendly. The chefs make it a really fun time for your group and everyone else at the table so that everyone can laugh and have fun together. They must have some serious training to do all the cooking tricks they do… So cool! The portions are really good and the flavors are amazing! At the regular dinner tables, the atmosphere is very private and quiet, a really nice place for a fancy dinner date! The food is also super good and the drinks are really well made, not watered down at all like some places tend to do! I come here every few months just because I love the food and the experience so much, 10⁄10!

Nothing good I can say about this place Except they have Good drinks and servers. Everything else is overrated and my girlfriend and I overheard the management yelling at their staff about trying to upsell a VIP card which the server has offered. Not the way they should do business. The bald guy also was very rude as we left.

It has stiff competition in that area with all the food choices. We unfortunately couldn’t do hibachi but regular dining was fine. We were served quickly. The food was good. It was just on the pricey side. The duck spring roll was fine. It was expensive for what it was. We all had a bite and it was $ 7. The green lantern sushi roll was pretty good. It was well done and had flavors outside a regular roll. It was wrapped without rice so it’s a nice change. The shredded crispy beef was great. There were a bunch of peppers. I made the mistake of consuming one and my mouth felt like it was in another universe. When feeling returned I separated the peppers and enjoyed the rest of the meal. Overall the experience was nice. The food was good. The service was good and so was the atmosphere. A good place to go with friends and have pan Asian food.

Millbury is right next to my hometown, and it was inconceivable for there to be a sushi restaurant around the area 15 years ago. We were basically limited to Tony’s Pizza. I went here for the first time today on a visit home, and I was pleasantly surprised. We all shared many dishes, and I was pleased with all of them. The seaweed salad was perfectly citrusy. It’s my favorite dish of all time and tasted just as good as it has at my favorite places. The edamame was really good, but was served in a wooden container that had black mold spots growing all around the edges. It makes me nervous about how they sanitize their other dishes. I had the«lobster rock and roll»(I really hate dishes that are named like this), but it was really delicious. It was completely different from classic sushi. It was dressed up with accoutrements, but they worked well for these particular rolls. Overall, I was a fan of the food, but they really need to take mind about serving wooden dishes with mold on them.

I desperately wish i had reviewed this place when it opened many years ago to illustrate the difference. I have been a regular customer for 6 years. we go at least every other month, and still go for sentimental reasons despite the decline in quality… and after moving away! Good first: The service is always great, and the Hibachi chefs are fun, engaging and do an excellent job. the sushi specials are unique and inventive, and always fun to try. The mediocre: The quality of the ingredients has steadily declined over the past few years. The hibachi remains better than the sushi— i think because the lower quality fish is less noticeable. The sushi options are varied and exciting, though the options available have gotten progressively more bland— the tuna sashimi dumplings used to be one of my favorite things to order and they have devolved to «meh». the cocktails are fun to try, but very sweet and unbalanced. The bad: the quality and availability of the fish has significantly declined. I do appreciate that the chefs have changed the menu to reflect that— most of the options are made with cooked fish that will keep for longer or be less noticeable. More recently, i have seen that crab has been changed out for fake crab and only a handful of the sushi specials contain neither crabstick or eel(both lose their freshness more slowly than other options. I am disappointed in Feng. I have loved coming since they opened, but the low quality is starting to outweigh the nostalgia and convenience.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. My wife and I have been here no less than 75 times over the years(I check in when I go so it tracks my visits.) We’ve had lots of different servers but always great service. The food never disappoints and the atmosphere is perfect. Tim the manager always greets us with a smile and makes us feel welcome. My wife and I try to stop here once a week when possible. Feng in Millbury is highly recommended!

Service wasn’t all that great and was given a different dish than I had ordered. Waiter then took his own tip out of our pay when he was supposed to get change for us. Restaurant wasn’t busy yet food and drinks still took upwards of 30 minutes to order. Could get much better service and quality for much cheaper at other Asian places in the area.

Love this restaurant but was disappointed today. Trying to get some sushi before a 12:30 movie. Supposed to open at 11:30. While we are waiting for doors to open at 11:35 the manager runs up from the parking lot. He says he’s late and come back in a half hour. I know it’s New Year’s Day but if you are going to open late put a sign on the door!

Cool ambiance. Service was excellent. Seaweed salad and wild mushroom miso was very good. I liked my sweet potato tempura sushi a lot but the vegetarian roll was not too exciting. Spicy king crab roll was moderately flavored but eel and cucumber roll was excellent.

I frequently find myself in blackstone and had never gone to Feng so today was the conclusion and resolution of that desire. We ordered the lunch maki special which is good value. I found the miso soup to be a little more salty than I personally like, but definitely not a deal breaker. I had the Philadelphia roll, the spicy tuna roll, and the angry dragon roll. Let’s take a second to talk about this angry dragon roll, first off it’s the reason I went there because I heard from a colleague that it was literally the best sushi they’ve ever had and while that statement may speak more to their penchant towards hyperbole than the sushi(or perhaps their limited experience with sushi) it was very good. This is a phenomenal roll, the others were standard, nothing to complain about but nothing to go on about. I would like to try other aspects of their menu, and if you find yourself there I too would recommend their angry dragon roll. However, make no mistake if you’re looking for that best sushi you’ll ever have there are other restaurants(even in Worcester) that are stronger contenders.

Be mindful of bringing children! The servers were attentive and there wasn’t a long wait even on a Friday night. The food was good as was the hibachi performance. However the rating was lowered due to some inappropriate behavior by the hibachi chef. Our table consisted of four adults, a young teenager(14) and a child(maybe 6?). Now I understand that it’s all in good fun and there would be no issue if the kids weren’t there. The table laughed when the chef tried aiming veggies into our mouths off the spatula, but it got awkward when the chef was shooting water at us, laughing, saying ‘pee pee haha pee pee’. The chef asked us to open our mouths again during the performance. .figuring it was water, we obliged, but it was sake! He tried to shoot the sake at the children too!!! Despite it just being a few drops, the business should be weary of this!!!

Went today for the first time. Had the lettuce cups and the Pad Thai. Both were satisfactory but I’ve had better elsewhere. Modern décor was nice. Server was fine. Hi William, the best Pad Thai I ever had was a crispy chicken version with lightly breaded chicken instead of plain chicken. Also yours could use more peanuts. Again, I gave you 4 Stars so my visit was enjoyable. I do appreciate your responding as it shows Feng Asian Bistro is in tune with its customers. Be well.

I don’t see reason for any negative review here, as I come here usually once a week, and have been served by many different people. I came here last Wednesday, and the bar was packed around 5pm. The bartender made me the perfect martini, yet again. A friend of mine ordered the little devil drink. I tried it, and while I don’t prefer mixed drinks, it was very tasty with complex flavors. It definitely wasn’t just a strong mai tai like you find it most Asian places. My sushi was great, with fresh vegetables. My friend ordered the Angry Dragon roll, and it was so big he couldn’t finish it! This place never disappoints me, and it is by far my favorite place to get drinks up at the mall. I can’t wait to try the hibachi.

Well, I’ve gone back to this place since. The food on the restaurant side has always been awesome!(YAY general tsos chicken and YAY sushi!) But the last time I went to hibachi, my friend and I were TOTALLY put off. We were 2 put with another party of 4. The chef literally only paid attention to the two men who were with the party of 4. All the women got jipped out of rice and vegetables. They were all given to the men! How sexist?!? I’m so happy that I ordered the salmon(something no one else ordered) so that I didn’t get jipped out of my meat too. The portions decreased significantly since the other times I had come and the prices were a bit elevated. Needless to say, I’m going to stick to the restaurant side of this place. I have never felt more ignored!

Sadly, the menu has changed and it seems the chef has changed as well. The menu had become less interesting with more fried dishes and things that for in with a suburban restaurant experience. I was not at all happy with the flavor changes. For example, the lettuce cups had a heavy sauce flavor instead of the lightness that I came to expect. I think it will be a long time before I come back. It is sad. I used to really like it here.

I love sushi. To a point where I will buy it from a market to get a fix if necessary. Feng was disappointing on a few levels. For such an attractive restaurant, why is it in a strip mall with bargain stores and chains? I would think moving this not so far to the few neat downtown streets of Worcester would provide a better atmosphere more apt to the fine dining feeling. Anyway, it wasn’t crowded, it was definitely early bird dinner time. My date wanted hibachi and I really am not impressed by having food cooked in front of me, etc. I don’t care, I’d rather talk to my companion. We agreed to sit on the restaurant side towards the sushi bar The waiter came over a few times and was sort of irritated we were taking long to select drinks and food. My date ordered one of the drink specials and the waiter had no clue what it was and practically accused him of making it up. Ok… I ordered a Ginger Martini which was surprisingly sweet, until I took a nibble of the ginger at the bottom of the glass, which was far more potent than the ginger that accompanied my sushi. The rolls were pretty small, and executed a bit sloppily for my tastes. the rice wasn’t a nice full layer and the nori seemed extra chewy. The philly roll was made with cucumber instead of avocado, which was disappointing especially since I was pay about $ 2 more for it than I would everywhere else I have been. I will commend them on their spicy tuna, as it was not laced with siracha mayonnaise and was actually seasoned to be spicy. The seaweed salad we started with was average, but definitely overpriced. For the money spent, I could have gone to my favorite sushi place back home and four of us could have had 2 rolls and soup or salad each and 2 drinks. Seems like a place to make suburbanites feel cultured while getting their pockets picked.
