Been getting my haircut with Jenny for years and she’s fantastic. Wouldn’t get my hair cut by anyone else (except Roxanne — she’s great, too) and I’m a dude.

I had a blow out done by Ina who did a beautiful job. The salon is gorgeous, clean and staff is friendly. My only complaint is I booked my appointment online for 40 and they charged me 50 at the end. I don’t think 50 is reasonable compared to what other salons in the area charge. I usually pay 35 for a blowout before the tip. They could have told me what they were planning on charging me beforehand during the consultation at least. For this reason I won’t be back unless I’m in the area and in dire need of hair services.

This is a wonderful salon, with a courteous, professional and friendly staff. I have never had a more educated, understanding and talented stylist than Katia. She possesses such a deep well of knowledge and her skills are outstanding. She gives my hair such dimension, yet makes it look so natural. I cannot recommend her enough. She is the best hair stylist I have ever had.

Josephine gives AMAZING haircuts and always blows my hair out perfectly! I’ve been going to her for a few months now and always leave my appointments with exactly what I had asked for. This is for sure the best my hair has ever looked! Everyone there is super friendly and accommodating and the salon itself is bright and beautiful. I’m happy to say that this is the best salon experience I’ve had so far.

Love this upscale yet low-​key unpretentious salon. Have been following Josephine for nearly 20 years and this is the place. Bright & clean. Down-​to-​earth staff from Gerardo who answers the phone to the woman who shampooed me and The owners are super nice. Josephine always gives me great cut and color. Prices are very reasonable. Josephine has been cutting and coloring my hair for years and she is the BEST! Not only is Josephine amazing but everyone at Salon 518 couldn’t be nicer! The salon itself is gorgeous and decorated beautifully. When I went in the other day to do something different, Josephine consulted Roxanne and the other stylists about color and gave me exactly what I was looking for! I would HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone looking to get an amazing haircut, color, blowout, etc. I have also gotten a keratin treatment done there which has lasted for six months. Everyone at the salon couldn’t be more helpful and Gerardo the receptionist is great when you’re booking appointments and couldn’t be more accommodating. Parking in the back makes getting to the salon a breeze!

I am SO happy I could shout!!! Finally found a great salon! Staff is lovely and very attentive. Stylist listened and delivered! The color is gorgeous and I have so much body it’s ridiculous! I got partial balyage highlights from Mary Anne and they looks fantastic (in my opinion balyage highlights are more natural-​looking and low-​maintenance than foil highlights). Mary Anne looked at a few pictures that I brought as examples, and she understood exactly the look and the color that I was going for. Although they didn’t blow out my hair afterwards, I’m not subtracting a star, because I thought the price was very reasonable compared to what I’ve paid for the same service in NYC. Also, the salon itself is brand new and lovely, and I was able to get an appointment very quickly. I will definitely go back.
