It is a small location which is easily accessible, it looked very clean. And there is a decent amount of parking outside due to it being located in a plaza. Came here to redeem a pint for pint coupon after donating blood. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and he doesn’t like any type of cake, not even ice cream cake. So i wanted to get a pint of his favorite flavor, Icing on the Cake. The store was empty so I was right in front of the line. Young attendant was not very friendly and they didn’t have many of flavors available including the top three that my boyfriend preferred. It was Monday in the middle of the day. I looked in the freezer and I saw a pint of ice cream which was Icing on the Cake. I asked if there was any way to redeem the coupon and I would pay the difference and the cashier said«IT doesn’t work that way». Not wanting to go to another BR I just grabbed the snickers flavor. I wanted to get a candle which there were none left at all but the number 0 which was tiny and was over 3 dollars. If I didn’t have a coupon to redeem and I was in the Millbrae area I wouldn’t go to this location again.

The last time I was at this Baskin Robbins, it was my summer going into freshman year of high school. A boy asked me out with their signature ice cream cakes. Definitely stole my heart haha. 8 years later and I’m honestly surprised this chain is still open. Me and my friend stopped by one Thursday night because it was a nearby quick fix for our sweet tooths. The new design of the place was refreshing and warming. I guess we’re lucky we had good staff on duty because the girl was patient with me when I asked to sample like half the flavors. She scooped me big samples too so kudos for that! I ended up getting the small 4oz cup with half Oreo Malt Madness and half Peanut Butter ‘n Banana. It cost about $ 4. The ice cream was good, but got overwhelmed by the sweetness quickly. But hey, it is ice cream. Although there are thousands of other places to get ice cream, Baskin Robbins is decent to stop by if you’re nearby and craving ice cream.

Good place for Ice Cream and Ice Cream Cakes. They have some good flavors and it is a nice location right next to Big Mouth Burger so definitely a nice after dinner snack.

Have you ever had an idea, and then saw your idea come to fruition and thought, «OMG, I thought of that?!?» That’s what I thought when I saw the new Dunkin Doughnuts flavored ice cream. I was just in Boston a couple weeks ago, and I was saying to my friend, «you know, they should make an ice cream out of Dunkin Doughnuts since everyone on the East Coast seems to love Dunkin Doughnuts.» And now, passing Baskin Robbins, and seeing the big poster advertisement, I was like, «man, I thought of that! That’s why I’m in Marketing!» But, I wasn’t part of this marketing campaign. Though I really should have been. So this ice cream sounds good in theory, but when I got a scoop, I was like, what is this mess? Think cinnamon tasting, with weird thin chocolate flakes, and a little bit of coffee ice cream, and you have their new special flavor. It doesn’t taste like doughnuts, and it really doesn’t have much of a coffee flavor, since the vanilla ice cream seems to overpower the very little coffee ice cream. So, if I were blindfolded, I would honestly think this was a cinnamon vanilla ice cream. Maybe it was just the part that they had scooped for me, but I was underwhelmed. Next time I’m going to buy myself a Krispy Kreme doughnut, then go to Mitchell’s Ice Cream or something and get a great coffee flavored ice cream, and just smooth them together. Hey, now that’s a great idea… Krispy Kreme ice cream…

The reason for 4stars is employees. They didnt even care that you were there on the line… I’m sorry but I have to say that the ice cream is always my favorite and I love BR ice cream but not the staffs though. It turned my ice cream half of taste down. Plus. Put this in my on your face it wouldn’t cost any cent.

#BaskinRobins #IceCream #Disappointment My husband and I stopped in tonight at around 8:45pm while on a walk with our 9lb Chimation. Like with any store, I picked our dog up prior to going in to prevent any potential accidents. While deciding what ice cream to get what I believe to be the manager walked past me and started talking to me in a very thick accent. What I was able to decipher was«Is that your dog?, Is he a service dog and what training does he have?, You can’t be in here with him». There are 2 things wrong with this: #1 I don’t believe she has the right to ask if he’a service dog or what he’s trained in #2, There’s NOSIGNAGE specifying that dogs are not allowed. As we left she proceeded to yell at the girl working that dogs aren’t allowed in the store. Terrible manager. –Service Dog Law– «As a rule, service dogs are allowed to go anywhere that the general public goes. That includes any privately owned businesses that serve the public such as restaurants, hotels, retail stores, taxi’s, theaters, concerts, sports facilities, etc. The American Disabilities Act(ADA) requires that businesses allow people with disabilities to bring their service animals onto business premises in whatever areas customers are allowed. If you enter a business and are told that you cannot bring your dog inside, you simply tell them that you have a disability and that this is your service dog. BYLAW, a business is not allowed to ask you what your disability is, nor can they demand proof that your dog is „certified“. Each state may have additional laws that provide protection to service dogs and the people they serve.»

I only return here when I really want ice cream. The management needs to do something with the staff though. They don’t usually greet when you walk in. No one smiles. One girl yawned in my face. It’s just always awkward in there. It’s always someone different every time but the tension is always the same.

I went today to use the coupons but acting manager didn’t know about coupon at all. I was so mad because she’s a manager and she didn’t know what her job is. She couldn’t handle today problem so the other customer was complaining to me. Long line up. Today was my birthday she ruined my big day. I will never come back millbrae store. I really want to meet owner to talk about employees. The employee wasn’t doing terrible job for customer. NEVER ever COMEBACK!!! If owner see this review please contact me.

The reason for 1 star is because this location will mislead and over charge. On 2 separate occasions, I purchased what I thought were ice cream cakes. In reality I purchased frosted ice cream. Neither«cake» had actual cake. I paid $ 80 in total for ice cream I could have purchased for $ 20. Buyer beware! Don’t buy their ice cream«cakes»

This is a general review of BR ice cream cakes. What Baskin Robbins calls a ½ sheet is NOT a normal size ½ sheet cake. It’s more like ¼ sheet or 1⁄8 of a sheet. They claim it will feed 12. There is no way this cake will feed 12 people. At $ 42.00(tax included), it was a rather expensive cake for the size. We ordered the Thomas(train) chocolate cake with strawberry ice cream for my nephew’s birthday, and I must say that it was very cute. The ice cream part of it was fine, but the cake part of it was not very good. It was hard(dense is what I would call it). Perhaps that’s what it needed to be in order to hold the ice cream on top. I will never order an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins again.

I go to this Baskin Robbins store on occasion, but there are a couple of things that really bother me— 1) Stop scooping the last 1-inch of the big tub of ice cream and plopping it on top of a new fresh carton. It’s disgusting. I go in to get the flavor cone I want, and there on top of a brand new opened carton of ice cream is a big BLOBOFMELTEDGOO! Needless to say, I move onto another flavor. I think the health department needs to review your processes. Just throw it out when it gets too low… or I got a better idea— The owners can take it home and eat it!!! 2nd thing that grosses me out is I notice that the employees put the ice cream cakes on top of the tubs of ice cream(in between working on them) to keep them chilled while they do this or that— I suspect you have a big walk in freezer for that, right? Use it, because I don’t want your dirty cake bottom that you’ve been working on contaminating the ice cream I’m thinking of eating. Maybe you need a refresher course on sanitation? The health department isn’t far— call and make an appointment. I’m sure they’d be happy to stop by and help you out.

I went into this store on Sunday, 12/29/2013 and specifically ordered a two-scoop strawberry sundae with Vanilla ice cream. The person who served me asked me «everything on it». I said no, just whip cream. When she gave me my order, it just had two scoops of vanilla ice cream and whip cream. I asked her where is the strawberry sauce and she put it over the whip cream. I said doesn’t it normally go on top of the ice cream. She then had the nerve and said I asked if you wanted everything on it. I told her when I ordered I asked for a strawberry sundae with vanilla ice cream. She completely messed up my order and gave me rude service. I am never returning to this location again.

Ice cream cones are good, and still reasonably priced. My main complaint is that management, who sets prices, shows no respect for their customers when they want almost $ 40 for ice cream cakes that are merely family sized. And $ 8 for a milkshakes??? I will not even seriously consider their other products until they bring the prices down closer to reality.

I’ve become a fan of almost everything hippie as of late and didn’t have the time or energy to drive into the city and wait in line at bi-rite. Sometimes 31 flavors just has to do the job. It did the job quite well actually. I love a good waffle cone and this place has a decent one, especially after they dip it in chocolate and put some chocolate sprinkles on it. So good! They’ve advertised the 31 flavors concept ever since I can remember and I have honestly tried… Four! Choco Chip, Mint Choco Chip, Rocky Road and Peanut Butter Choco something-or-other. It’s good in a pinch, as long as you temper your expectations.

Bee to this store a few times and the service was very friendly and store was nice and clean. It’s in a nice location too with plenty of parking across the road Winter White Chocolate — Yum! Only got one chocolate covered cherry in it though but that’s not down to the store, they just need to put more in it when it’s made. ** Birthday Tip ** Join their email club and receive a free scoop on your Birthday as well as monthly BOGOF deals on the flavor of the month. Located right next to my work place. Needless to say, it is definitely convenient if I want ice cream during my break. Of course, we all know their prices arent cheap. Somewhat expensive i’d say. But you know one of those days when you just crave for ice cream and it’s right there? Well, how can you resist then. I ALWAYS get a scoop of cookies and cream. Personal favorite. Their staff are friendly… most of the time. I have experience some employees that barely smile, and say anything else besides scooping the ice cream for you and taking your money…

The ice cream was good… the service needed some attention. When I arrived, there were 2 people working, and a lady with her son getting a cake and some sort of thing for her kid. It took FOREVER for whatever they were making, cuz the one dude had NO F’N CLUE, overfilled it, blah blah blah. While waiting looking at the flavor selections with my son, some old lady comes in, grabs a cake and jumps ahead of me to get something written on it. So the other dude who knew what he was sorta doing couldn’t help the 1st dude, and took FOREVER to write on the cake. Plus it kinda smelled weird in there.

Only place I know that has PISTACHIOALMOND. If you like nuts, you’ll love this flavor!!! Ever since Ben & Jerry stopped making Totally Nuts, this is the closest thing I can get. It’s filled and I mean filled with pistachios and almonds. I’m so boring(or deprived), but every time I go to Baskin Robbins, can’t seem to convince myself to order anything else.
