I took a leap of faith and wen’t to see Kelly Rae as she was highly recommended by a couple of people in the Tiburon/​Mill Valley neighborhoods on the Next-​door site and I am so happy I did. She took her time to sincerely listen to my needs and concerns about my fine curly hair which has been damaged in the past.
She used her organic magical hair color on me, and now my hair has different dimensions it feels and looks so healthy. The entire experience was great and as an added bonus, she takes excellent photos!

Kelly has been cutting my medium length layered blonde-​brown hair and adding balayage highlights for 6 months now, and I love my hair! It’s natural and ‘beach girl’ easy, perfect for my low maintenance style. The salon is laid back and quiet, which I prefer, and parking is always a breeze. She’s also given me a pretty set of lashes for a trip I took when I did not want to deal with make up. I’m so happy with Kelly!

I have been going to Kelly Rae for over ten years and I could not be happier!
I travel the world for a living and due to scheduling I am occasionally forced to go to other people, which is never a good idea…
I receive so many compliments with Kelly’s work, and I tell every one about her.
I also recommend her for make up and wedding hair styling, she did mine and I loved it!
Yes I would highly recommend her.

I know Kelly both professionally and as a friend. She is a great hairdresser and while these reviews are personal, I have never experienced anything negative. I know some of these reviews are also bogus and are not true. As you all are aware, hair is very important and everyone feels very emotional about their appearance. I can only say, that personally Kelly has done a great job on me.

I’ve been going to Kelly religiously for a year. She does the best work in Marin. My optometrist even commented that my lashes are the best that she has seen and she sees a lot of lash extensions up close!

I feel so lucky to have found Kelly Rae! I have been to her 4 times now for cut and color and every time I am absolutely thrilled by how my hair turns out. Kelly Rae listens carefully to what I want and every time has made some great suggestions both about the color and the cut and every time has been right. I always get a ton of compliments after she does my hair and I couldn’t be happier. She is also always willing to be flexible to accommodate my crazy schedule which is a serious bonus! She has given me incredibly natural flattering color with just a hint of highlights and a great cut every single time. I couldn’t be happier!

I’m sorry to inform you I was in fact YOUR client at your salon. I did in fact receive the worst service and experience due to your lack professionalism and skills. I am not amazed that your have issues with other local businesses or people in general. I wish you luck with your ”new” business venture.
WOMEN OF MARIN BEWARE of this woman and her salon. I cried when I got home and I regret so much I didn’t tell you before I left, but must importantly before I paid how horrible your persona, work and work ethic is.

Kelly Rae is incredible! I have been going to Kelly Rae for almost 10 years now, and even though I no longer live in Marin I make sure to schedule an appointment every time I come to town! If you are looking for a color expert, she is it! I cannot say enough good things about her. Salon Kelly Rae is a must!
