Birth Doulas of Marin

Who knew delivering a baby could be this good???
I just delivered my second son with the loving support of this group. My first son was delivered with Sarah Middleton and my second with Julianne Schoepp.
Where to start with Sarah… well, seeing as it was my first baby and I obviously had no clue as to what I should expect Sarah made this easy. I wanted to deliver without augmentation and she was very calming and supportive while I was in labor at home for hours. When it was time to go to the hospital she was happy to show up in the middle of the night and give my poor husband a break. Ladies, if you think you’ll appreciate a doula just wait to see how grateful your husbands will be. Sarah really helped me to get through the long labor and gave me very helpful information when making decisions in the hospital.
Julianne was equally amazing and supportive. My second labor was more painful than the first and she was very helpful and and also not in my face. When in labor it’s easy to want everyone to leave you alone but her suggestions and solutions were valuable to no end. Her use of aromatherapy was surprisingly effective and her all around positive demeanor offered much in the way of comfort.
If you are on the fence about working with the Birth Doulas of Marin just say yes. I HIGHLY recommend. You’ll never know how wonderful deliveries can be if you opt against.
