Shu Swamp Preserve – Charles T Church Nature Preserve

This is a great place to spend a few hours in blissful tranquility. No loud noise, radios, pets of any kind, camping, food or drink are allowed in the park. It’s beautiful out here. There are two short walking trails. One trail is going by the pond & the other one is to walk along some waterways. The view around the pond area is beautiful. You can see swans, fishes, & turtles around the pond area. There’s also benches around the pond area. You can also see the tallest tulip tree in New York state here.
If you’re not familiar with the area, the parking lot can be pretty hard to find. Just drive on Frost Mill road & you will see the small parking lot there.
