I went in today for an eye exam and was very pleased with the entire experience. The doctor is very friendly and knowledgeable. They even helped me find a pair of glasses, that I love, with such great service.
Charming store filled with charming glasses, big name brand and local, and service provided by charming people.
Thank you eye society and I found my regular eye professionals for annual examinations!

The glasses here may be pricey but totally worth it. The service is amazing. I can’t speak to the optometry but I brought my prescription here and I just love their customer geared mindset. Recently my glasses broke and instead of asking me how, why, etc they took them and said yes we can get you a new pair. I’d come here again and again for the fun styles but mostly for the people and the service!

I came here for my very first pair of eye glasses. :(
The shop is quaint and the personnel is very attentive.
It’s a boutique style, so styles and prices will be higher than your local Lens Crafters and similar shops. Question is, do you get the same quality of optics and personalized service in those types of shops? I was told the optics quality at Lens Crafters and such are not as good.
I wouldn’t know as this is my first pair.
I ordered two pairs, one for distance and another for reading. Wait time is up to 2 weeks. I will report back when I get them.

Being a dentist, I have specialty eyewear called loupes, of which a nose piece came off today. I popped my head into Eye Society today and Debra was able to find something that worked to hold me over until I contact the manufacturer. She even included a backup set of nose pieces. I am very impressed, they have my future business. And Debra, thanks again!

I’ve stopped here 4 times in the past month. Once to order my glasses, then to pick up, and then for Bryson to choose a pair of glasses, and then go back to order them. In that brief amount of time I can confidently say their customer service and selection is awesome!
I have a hard time finding glasses that fit my face just right, but I found something just for me in under 20 minutes! Bryson pretty much found his glasses just as fast on his visit. I’ve had my pair for a few weeks and am wearing it out in public (which is huge for me since I usually just use my contact lenses).
Their customer service is great. Genuinely friendly and congenial. They aren’t talking to you just to «make a sale.» We were greeted by multiple people each time and were asked if we needed help/​recommendations without being hovered around! They even gladly welcomed my puppy into the store to hang out on their carpets while I browsed the selection.
I have VSP so the discounts/​insurance coverage were good. With my Health Savings Account I ended up paying nothing for my new glasses!
I would definitely recommend a visit here if you are looking for a nice pair of stylish, quality glasses!

Dr. Taguchi is a fantastic eye doctor! I was so happy when I got new insurance and could go back to seeing him at this new location. His staff are terrific, very knowledgeable and helped me pick out the perfect new frames. Dr. T is also very good with children and as a glasses wearer himself, he can provide first hand knowledge and make recommendations from products that he’s tried/​used himself.

I have been a patient of Dr. Taguchi for almost 8 years, and am glad that he is now here. He is easily my favorite health care professional ever, so much so that I drove over an hour to see him.
His exams are thorough and even fun. Great doctor and person, worth the commute! Literally, the only doctor appointment that I look forward to and schedule when I’m supposed to.

The staff and eye-​wear selection are topnotch here! I always look forward to seeing Gina, Debbie and the others :) Treat yourself to something nice here and you will see the quality in what is carried here.
I find myself just stopping in to say «hi» to the friendly crew and take a look at the trends in eye-​wear. You also just want to hang out, it’s so beautifully decorated (Gila is such a classy talented lady!)
Unfortunately my work changed optical insurance carriers so I’m not covered here so most of my visits are just to window shop. I still love receiving calls when their is a special or upcoming trunk show and on occasion will visit for them.
I love my etina and face a face frames — I have had them both for 3+ years and still get so many complements on them! I also received a pair of Tiffany & Co. sunglasses from here a few years ago as a gift which are fabulous of course!
Thank you Eye Society for all your years of service and friendship! I miss Dr. Lehrer and find myself still a little bit shocked about his passing even two years later. What a pleasure it was to be his patient. I know he is missed by many.

I had my glasses taken over the weekend and I don’t have a spare pair.
Dr. Heather LeClaire and her staff squeezed me into their schedule the very next day (today) and they are putting a 3 day rush on glasses that normally take 7 — 10 days (progressive lenses with anti-​glare, etc).
Dr. LeClaire was incredibly nice, very thorough in her exam, and answered every question I had. She even offered to provide me a trial pair of contacts to get me by until my glasses arrived.
Yes, the frame selection is high end designer frames with most being in the $ 300 — $ 500 range. But, I wear my glasses every single day, so I want somethng that looks great and stylish in addition to being functional.
Dr. LeClaire and Eye Society gets 5 stars from me for going way above and beyond to help me out! My husband and I will both be back next year.

Called here to see if they had a frame that my husband picked out on line (he travels 5 days a week). I was told by a guy that answered the phone that he was too busy to help me. I would have to call back Monday (even though they were open for 2 more hours). We in total have spent over 5K in glasses/​frames here with my family. He was rude and should have given great customer service (very expensive store). ie: I will call you back today, but it may be late, what is your name, I will call you back asap, I mean, seriously? Did you not think that everyone is a reviewer? — (I just wanted to see if a frame was in stock as we live an hour away) bummer for him, lost a sale.

The most fashionable, high-​end glasses you’ll find in the Eastside. Beautiful décor, thoughtfully modern and friendly, helpful staff. If you need help finding the best pair of specs, the staff are knowledgeable and will help you in your decision. You’ll feel and look like a million bucks. It’s more expensive than, say, Costco, but if you wear glasses all the time like me –it’s your ‘look’ so you want to look your best. You’ll find that uniqueness and great service here.
