Dinner’s Ready

I tried them for the first time. Opted to order online and have them package everything and deliver for free. So far been really pleasantly surprised. Cheaper than eating out, easy to prepare and I feel like I’m eating healthier and enjoying the experience I’ve had so far. I am planning on ordering again and trying some new stuff as well as re-​ordering some stuff.
To order and get it the next day with no deliver or tip required is really got me down to $ 9 a meal. Instructions are super clear and easy to follow. Great find!

Ok food and meals. A bit the same. The prep sessions take a good hour or so, plus drive time, so you might be able to do better on your own making meals ahead and freezing them for the week. Kids did not like the items, so that did not really work. Need to buy and bring your own freezer containers. Just main courses so you will still need to make your side dishes so not sure it is worth the hassle.

I’m one half of a DINK (double income no kids) couple, and since my husband and I both work, and the responsibility of cooking every meal falls on my shoulders, I really appreciate Dinner’s Ready.
They now have three different serving sizes: 6, 4, or 2. The way it works is simple: You go online, order the food you want from the monthly menu, and then schedule your prep session. On the day of your session, you grab your husband (or who ever else is willing to help you) and your cooler and go to the store to assemble all your meals into convenient freezer bags. Each week, you thaw out several bags, follow the instructions and viola! Dinner in less than 30 minutes.
Dinner’s Ready does all the menu planning and annoying slicing and dicing for you, and going to assemble your meals is actually fun. The quality of the food is really good, and everything is created by a chef and a nutritionist.
If you work, have kids, whatever… this is a huge time saver! It’s like having a sous chef of your very own!
