Mililani Mauka Community Park

I love the convenience of this park. It’s so accessible to the community. It’s a pretty large park and able to accommodate multiple large groups. There are usually peewee football, soccer clubs, flag football, people playing frisbee, and dog walkers all sharing the park with more than enough room.
The park has lots of flat areas large enough to be football and soccer fields but also has levels to it such that are divided by gentle hills that kids can play on.
The area is pretty safe with the middle school next door, fire station down the road, lots of people jogging on the sidewalks, and police cars occasionally patrolling the neighborhoods.
My only complaint is how muddy the fields get. But it’s Mauka so I guess it’s expected with all the rain.

Nice peaceful park in Mililani Mauka… located next to Mililani Middle School… my husband, daughter, and I love walking to this park. It is practically in our backyard. So we come here often. This park is usually filled on weekends with soccer teams and football practice. We like coming here on the weekday usually after work or after weekend games when it’s not as crowded. It is just a large empty field. They finally fenced in the area so it’s safe for the kids that play ball. Keeps balls from rolling down the road.
We love coming here to fly our kite or to just run around and kick our soccer ball. It’s in Mauka so the weather is always nice and cool here. When it is sunny and you’re on the lower end, there isn’t much shade. In fact, there isn’t any shade so bring an umbrella if you’re planning on staying for a while. The higher end of the park on the other street has a few little, tiny trees that we see parents sitting under while they’re kids are in practice.

Nice huge park, lots of room for everyone. Grass could use work and it does rain often, well… It is mauka. Other than that it’s a nice place to let the kids run wild and practice whatever sport they might be athletically inclined to learn.
