First time home owners BEWARE, this man is nothing more than an aggressive bully who thinks he can take advantage of people and once he has their money, its not his problem anymore. My husband and I bought our first home last year and are still learning the ropes with all the inner workings. I found Gary online and found him pleasant and knowledgeable when we met initially so I hired him for a job with our A/​C unit. The result has been disaster we are out $ 275 and have the same problems we started with. Gary’s guys (not Gary) did a quick, mediocre inspection and determined (conveniently) that what we suggested might be wrong was the problem and replaced the part. I mentioned while they were still there that the problem didn’t seem better, they brushed me off and said it would cool down. We were originally told we would pay $ 30-​$ 40 for the part and $ 150 for a «service call.» At the end of the job they charges us $ 275 — how that math works no one seemed to be able to explain so they said the part ended up being $ 125…how were you so off about cost and why are you mad at us for asking what we are paying for? We paid anyways, happy it was fixed… except it wasn’t fixed. Fast forward 2 weeks and we are still having the same problems. We asked Gary to come back and look at it, explaining that the upstairs airflow was still «not acceptable and not how it was when we moved in last summer» and the downstairs problem was not fixed at all. Gary initially wrote back one sentence saying what they did worked, and nothing else. He called me at my request to discuss and proceeded to literally yell at me (witnessed by my husband), telling me that I was a lying about ever telling him that the downstairs had been a problem (we have since re-​sent him a copy of my original email of the issue to prove otherwise), if I wanted a full inspection I would have to pay $ 500, he said that calling his work unacceptable was equivalent to treating him like a middle school child, that he didn’t appreciate being questioned on his prices, that we were only calling him now because we were unhappy with the price and wanted more work for free and much, much more. At the end of this conversation, I was visibly shaken and said I didn’t think we wanted to do business with someone who was treating us like this, he hung up on me. I have never in my life had someone become so unhinged and scarily angry towards me for suggesting that they didn’t fix a problem and asking that they come back and look at it again. He sounds like a man who knows he did something wrong. Beware of companies with only one seemingly glowing review!

Gary was very friendly and professional. He is quite knowledgeable about airborne irritants. The team did a great job and worked efficiently while also taking care when moving furniture away from the vents. I highly recommend their services if you suffer from allergies. Lastly, we did a lot of shopping around and price was very reasonable.
