Pizza Chef Milford

Pizza chef is my favorite pizza place of all time. Not only for their divine pizza but the amount of care and time they put in their food. The staff is very passionate and proud of their food so they make each meal exquisitely. The staff is kind and a pleasure to talk to. Might I add that their delivery drivers are nothing but quick. I’ve never gotten my pizza faster. I’d rather order from here than dominoes any day. Although pizza chef cannot compete with dominoes prices their food is supreme quality and quantity and you will never go wrong when you choose pizza chef.

This little pizza place is very good however i dont like the pizza much. The subs calzones and chicken fingers are really good and fresh. Well done

At a place you wouldn’t expect, I had on of the best burgers in my life time at Pizza Chef. The service was excellent and hit the spot after a long day at work.

I’m in town for just two nights on business and so I trusted my fellow Unilocalers not to steer me wrong. I’m happy to announce they did not.
Pizza Chef is a solid 3-​star pizza, and there are damn few places outside of Italy and NYC I would give 5 stars to; even 4 stars I reserve for the best of the best. I walked in to order so I could get a feel for the place and see their menu. Pretty standard no-​frills pizzeria menu with pasta, grinders, pizza, salads, etc. The place is clean and the staff (owner, I think) was friendly. I was amazed how fast they were. My pizza was ready so fast I opened the box to look before leaving, thinking it would be underdone. Nope, not underdone at all. Perfectly done, in fact, which means just a hair short of overdone so the crust is crisp and chewy and the toppings are cooked enough to bring out their flavors. To cook it that fast means they must have a very hot oven, which is one of the secrets to great pizza that so many places don’t get.
And sure enough, the crust was excellent and the sauce had a subtle bite to it that differentiates it from a billion other boring pizzas found all over the country.
So the solid 3-​star pizza plus clean, friendly and perfectly cooked gets them 4 stars from me. If I’m ever in Milford again, I know where I’ll have pizza.

Their Hawaiian pizza is spot on. Not soggy at all and full of flavor. This is the only pizza I’ve tried from them, but I would probably come back when I was craving a fantastic Hawaiian pizza. The staff seemed friendly when I called to order. I have no complaints.

Great pizza. Not dry in any sense with a fair amount of toppings. The only downside for me was that the crust is hard and chewy, but some people like that. Delivery came on time and the driver was nice. I definitely recommend Pizza Chef if you are in Milford.

Went there today for what was just one of many great experiences I’ve had with the staff at Pizza Chef! Reading through other reviews, I find it hard to believe that someone could ever have a bad experience with the food or the friendly staff behind the counter. Every time I’ve gone, whether for lunch or to pick up pizza, I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes including the line. As for the food,

Worst customer service ever. Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes and the order was wrong. Called and advised I could get credit or wait another hour or more for the correct order. I was hung up on when I complained about my options.
Tried to call owner and owner son came on line and when I mentions what had happened he said «Well I don’t know what to tell you I wasn’t here»
Will not be ordering from them again.

We chose this pizza place based on its high Unilocal rating and we were not disappointed. Pizza and salad were both excellent. Service was efficient and the prices were great. We’ve definitely found our new go-​to for pizza in the Milford area.

Pizza was awesome, sauce and crust were delicious and lots of cheese. the guys were friendly and we had onion rings as well which were golden and delicious with the just the right crisp. we live about 25 mins away but we will be back.

There are a lot of pizza shops in Milford but Pizza Chef continues to be one of the best if not the best. Their special pastrami pizza beats anything in town.

This place is awesome and the owner is the man. Great food at a good price I’ve never once been disappointed here it’s def my go to place!

I was in Milford today on a work related trip. I saw the reviews on Unilocal and decided to stop in The Pizza Chef. I have to say I was quite impressed. The pizza was outstanding and you will just love it if you like thin pizza with a flaky crust.
We also had an order of fries that were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. While I have had better pizza, this place is still great!

I’m very picky about Italian food, including pizza. When we moved to Milford, I was skeptical about local pizza places, and for a while we stick to Papa Gino’s (can’t really go wrong with their pizza either), but eventually I took a risk and tried Pizza Chef. Their pizza is nice and thin the way I like it, and the quality is very good. The side orders are very good too, and delivery is fast and friendly, all with very reasonable prices. I’d recommend this place to anyone ordering pizza in Milford.

This is the first time I’ve ordered food from Pizza Chef and I was very pleased, both with the food and the service. I ordered the House Special pizza and buffalo wings; the pizza was cooked well and had ample toppings, and the wings were crispy and completely covered with sauce. I had the food delivered, which took about 40 minutes. Not terrible considering cook time and drive time, and the food was hot when it got here. Over all, a great experience; I’ll definitely be ordering from here again.

Great food and service. Best pizza in town. Staff is very nice. Delivery time is super fast and delivered piping hot.
