The food was excellent. I believe it is the best middle eastern restaurant in the northeast. Healthy and fresh fallafel, chiken and lamb shawrmma. You should try their new introduced lavs gril chicken and lamb kabbab.

Recently renovated and looking fantastic, Olive Tree is the best fast casual restaurant in Milford and offers the best middle eastern cuisine in the area. Standout items include the best falafel in southern CT as well as superb lamb shawarma, white meat chicken shawarma and hummus. Their babaganouj is particularly outstanding and may be the best babaganouj in CT. Chef Aiman has many other creative dishes available including some great new additions to the menu like lamb kebab, lamb kofta, chicken kebob & spicy rice. Kebabs come with grilled vegetables. Olive Tree is excellent for vegetarians as well(falafel, spicy rice, mujadara and lentil soup to name a few). Enjoy at the restaurant or in various take-out sizes. Wonderful flavors are waiting for you. Milford is lucky to have Olive Tree.

Fresh, delicious, and healthy food. I had the falafel wrap. It was great. I also tried the tabouleh, hummus with pita bread, and chicken gyro. The spicy humus is my favorite, and they sell tubs of it. My friend had the chicken swarma and said it was incredible.

The food is authentic Syrian and that is what sets this place apart from the rest. The rice with peas and pine nuts(Syrian style) is excellent, he hummus is good but not great, and the falafel — fresh out of the fryer is as good as it gets.

Every once in awhile I get take out from here… It’s always been great. Love the remodel. A couple months ago I went in to get take out for the family. I had my 91 yr old Nana with me and while we waited a kind man gave her some falafel to snack on. It was a very kind gesture and now that she has left us, it is a moment I think about often.

They advertise that they have the best falafels in town… and I think they do! Seriously delicious food, super filling and so fresh. Can’t wait to go back and bring my whole family there!

Come her often and never had a bad meal. Try other places and it just doesn’t compare. The best hummus I have ever tried and everything is fresh and delicious!

Overall I was disappointed with my falafel sandwich on pita. The pita wasn’t as fresh and supple as it should have been and there was so little hummus that I’m only 50% sure that there was even any. They also asked me if I wanted it spicy to which I gladly answered yes and watched a smear of brownish colored goo be slid across the inside of my pita. I completely forgot that it was ‘supposed’ to be spicy until towards the end when a hunk of dry pita fell out of my clutches with something brownish on it. After wondering what it was I remembered that I got the ‘spicy’ version.

Really amazing version of falafel! Great flavor in the chickpea batter and the accompanying sauces, whether in a wrap or on a salad. The Olive Tree’s sides are amazing as well. I recommend the Tabouli and/or Baba Ghanush, but everything I’ve had there has been delicious. You’ll relish in the freshness of the ingredients! They also sell their hummus and stuffed grape leaves in to go containers. Small place, but they have a grouping of tables inside for eating in, but call ahead to order out too. Great place! Great staff! Great food!

Great food. Lamb, chicken, felafel… Absolutely delicious and cheap! Feta cheese is fresh and delicious. Usually buy a big container of hummus to bring home. Sad I moved away, I was a weekly regular.

I’ve been coming here for years for falafel and shawarma. I’ve tried other restaurants in Fairfield, West Haven and New Haven and this is my favorite. Everything I’ve ever had has been consistently delicious. The owners are very nice and will give little samples of anything you’re curious about trying. And they recently renovated the space so it is more like a restaurant vs. a take-away.

Store bought hummus just won’t cut it anymore. Best I’ve ever had! And their spicy sauce is always in stock in my fridge too. Oh, and don’t forget to bring home some of their cucumber yogurt sauce! Great falafel. My go-to meal is the Chicken Swarma Wrap(make it spicy)! Never had a bad experience in a couple dozen visits.

The Olive Tree is really great. The hummus is honestly some of the best hummus I’ve ever had. The kind that is in their display case is much better than the stuff they sell out of a cooler on the side, so try to ask for that(you may get push back, and it’s probably more expensive, but it’s worth it!). The falafel here is also excellent as are the various rice options. I haven’t had any of the meat so I can’t speak to that, but overall, I think this place is a win. They also just recently closed briefly to do a remodel and it turned out very well.

Not overly impressed with their shawarmas. The meat(chicken and Lamb) tastes decent but they aren’t adding the extras that actually make it a shawarma(pickled turnips, French fries, tabbouleh etc). It’s more of a chicken sandwich than a shawarma(lettuce, maybe mayo etc). The other stuff looks good though so I’ll check it out again. And I’m not sure what the deal is with the spit. Maybe the heat is broken but after they sliced it they proceeded to cook it on a pan. I’ve never seen that before.

Since moving to Milford, I have been trying to explore all of the little eccentricities that it contains. Lord knows this is the land of strip malls and chain restaurants so I’ve been digging around and trying to find a place that is worth my money. What olive tree lacks in appearance, it makes up for in it’s food. Service is quick and the food is yummy! I’ve been here twice(in one week) so far. The first time I ordered the lamb hummus platter and 6 dozen falafal. The lamb must be a popular item because the following day when I went in, a couple came in for just the lamb and left when they found it was sold out for the day. It was very delicious, with warm pita and the most delicious hummus I have ever tasted. Lots of tahini and rich olive oil. The falafal came with little pickles and I believe it was sprinkled with sumac(which I love). Tart, crunchy(albeit a little lacking in salt). The second time I had the fafta kabob(which I normally love elsewhere).here, it was eh. I’d stick with the lamb The tabboleh needed a little extra lemon but I like mine super acidic so I’m sure it’s just a taste preference but mixed with the hummus on the pita… Perfect! I’m so glad I found this little gem!

Very disappointing Tabbouleh. The Spicy Chicken Swarma was good, but minus the pickles… please. I showed up a little too early for the lamb 1030am. Be there at 11am for that. Skip the Swarma unless you minus the pickles Skip Skip Skip the Tabbouleh I want to give this place another try, but we will see. There was a burger joint across the street.

I really enjoy the falafel pita, chicken shawarma wrap and the chicken gyro. All are great options for about $ 8. There are also several platters to choose from for a few dollars more which are heartier and include side dishes. I work right down the street, so its a quick and easy option for lunch. A recent remodel now makes this a nice spot to eat-in. If in a rush, you can also call in a to go order a few minutes ahead of time and it’ll be ready when you arrive, however service is always very prompt!
