I have been taking my vehicle here for 4 years and for the first 2 this place was awesome but now that I am a recurring customer I suppose I am no longer a valued customer and they no longer feel the need to be reasonable with their prices. I needed a battery terminal replaced and they charged me 40 bucks for the part and 53.00 for half hour worth of labor total 93.00 for 10 mins worth of work. I have another vehicle that needs an alarm upgrade and was going to bring here but apparently this experience is a hint that I need to find a new place to frequent. I guess loyalty gets you nothing these days. 5÷21÷15 — Response: Let’s be clear you did not schedule me an appointment for 4pm you told me I had the option to return between 4pm — 5pm same day as David leaves at 5pm or schedule something for Thursday or Friday because Dave would not be in on Wed. because he was out for training. I took the first option and showed up at 4:30(which falls between 4pm &5pm) and David was working on another vehicle. When you left at 5:15 is when David finally provided me with a diagnoses and it was complete at 5:30. Of course I agreed with the 40.00 battery terminal because I was not going to drive back and forth between your store in Milford and the dealer in East Haven with the«he said she said» accusations over a battery terminal. And the battery terminal he changed had been in place prior to 2011 when your establishment began working on my vehicle. No you didn’t do the original install when I purchased my vehicle in 2009 but you have just about re-done all the work. Perhaps a reminder is in order: your establishment updated my alarm, replaced and installed both my amplifiers, re-did or what you called«cleaned up» my wiring, replaced and installed my woofers and completely upgraded, replaced and installed my alarm system and remote start. Not to mention the many times I’ve come back to purchase new remotes. As a matter of fact I’ve been waiting 6 months(I’ve asked 3 times) for Dave to order my back up camera so your shop can replace and do the work. After 4 years and all the work your men have done on my vehicle no one ever said ‘hey your battery terminal is not designed for the audio system you have we should replace it’. The battery terminal isn’t even my issue; my issue is $ 50.00 for 15 minutes worth of work(although you want me to believe it takes 45 minutes to change a battery terminal.) Perhaps Dave could have said ‘hey this is an expensive battery terminal($ 40.00) and it takes no time to install and since you are a repeat customer and we see you frequently how about we knock off most of the labor and instead of paying $ 93.00 you pay $ 50.00 and we will more than likely see you within the next 2 months for whatever your next project or issue is… That is called being CUSTOMERCENTRIC… Obviously in this instance I don’t believe you were being«fair» with how you charged me regardless of whether or not you«performed the original installation» By the way after my vehicle left the bay Dave brought in another vehicle to work on — did that customer get charged the after hour labor charge or does that only apply to me?

Great shop with outstanding customer service! My husband is beginning to play the guitar and ordered a Fretlight through Audioworks. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone!
