I just started at Momentum and am finding it to be extremely helpful I have neck and shoulder issues and feel that that are 100% on board at helping me fix the issues. I never feel pushed into doing something I can’t, yet I feel challenged. Incorporating physical therapy with a gym is ideal for me and I am very happy I found them!

A trainer at Gold’s for whom I have a lot of respect suggested that I see Eric at Momentum Physical Therapy in Milford to help with some shoulder issues I was having. This trainer was also a client of Eric. Having had a recent total knee replacement I had had a number of physical therapy sessions at a different facility closer to my home so I had a good basis for comparison. Eric was great. He took the time to understand where I was coming from, what my goals were and explained the approach he’d be taking and what to expect. Appointments always started at the designated time and I always saw Eric. My previous PT experience at a different facility had me working with different personnel each week. They were more«rep counters» who would give me an exercise to do and then disappear for a few minutes to work with someone else. It was basically something that I could do at the gym on my own. Eric has what I would describe as a very soothing personality. While we always did a lot of work during my sessions I think that had we just talked I would have felt better than when I arrived. He really inspires confidence. Having worked with people with lots of injuries he can advise you as to what progress to expect. I have made a lot of progress with both my shoulder and knee and I still do the exercises that he prescribed for me several months ago. The facility is quite spacious, clean, well run and with ample parking. I highly recommend that you give Eric a try for you physical therapy needs — you won’t be disappointed.

Great combination of Physical Therapy and Performance Training! I consider myself(at one time) an athlete, but at 41 have been dealing with a back issue and old man basketball hurts the knees now. I met Eric and Kyle at a Chamber event and gave them a call. This business is ultra friendly and inviting. The people make up 80% of the strong positive feelings about this place. After going thru PT for several weeks and understanding a bit more about how the body functions, creating an exercise routine, and practicing, I was passed along to Performance Training with Kyle. Kyle continued the exercises with gradual steps to reach further goals beyond a healthy back and knees. There are group sessions with about 4 – 5 other people where Kyle walks around and consults on form and how it makes us feel. This is not a «muscle shop», this is a healthy and scientific approach to getting a great workout. They educate so that you can improve daily life at home, while always adding positive reinforcement. Additional classes on nutritian and a simple workout area of updated décor make this a very well rounded business that you should visit if you want to get coached into a healthier lifestyle.
