I am a loyal customer to this store. I sometimes spend hundreds of dollars a week here. My mother and I had to grab some last minute items tonight. We knew exactly what we wanted and knew it wouldn’t take long. We walked in at 8:40. The employee standing there rudely yelled at us «You know we close in 15 minutes, right?!» I didn’t get her name but she was a lot older. My mom almost didn’t go in because of it. We were the only customers in the store. They loudly announced two or three times that the store was closing soon. When we were at the register, the rude employee was telling everyone to lock the doors and clock out so that they could be out at 9, which is when the store is supposed to be closing. They made us feel so uncomfortable and rushed. We were in the car by 8:50, still with 10 minutes to spare if we were finishing up shopping. This has never happened before and I hope it doesn’t happen again. If the store closes at 9, that’s when we should have to leave. Not before that.

Brought in commemorative poster from Paris to be dry mounted. Framing dept lost it and did very little to find it. No managers knew of problem. Very frustrating situation.

I’m an arts educator and Michael’s is often my go to for supplies. The deals are good, but the prices are a bit high to start with. I’ve never had a bad staff experience, but I have had a few instances of items that I needed not being stocked despite being very common items. Despite this, I will continue to visit Michael’s for many of my needs.

A large store filled with endless possibilities. I like how they are always having sales 30 to 40 percent off items. My only gripe is I feel some items are highly overpriced.
