This is the best Mexican food I have had in a while. The margaritas are delicious. The service is wonderful. You could fill yourself up on the chips and salsa because it is so addicting. I usually get the quesadilla with a tostada. It’s a good amount of food and it’s delicious! They always accommodate to my «no meat» request for the tostada which I love. They have live music there sometimes with a mariachi band. Overall, a great place with a ton of vegetarian options!

I visited Mi Jalisco with a big group, celebrating a friends birthday. For a Tuesday night they were super busy so I figured they’re a really good, popular spot. Their chips and salsa are so delicious! They have a huge menu with so many options, more than I’ve seen at other Mexican restaurants. I got the«Carnitas» with rice beans guacamole & tortillas. It was sooo delicious. Food service was quick! Their drink menu is awesome, they have margaritas from«Level One» to «Level Nine». I had a Level Two! Very delicious, if you want to check it out!

Lived in az for the last two years and i developed a love for mexican food while living there. This place is kind of like mexican food. They try pretty hard but all the food falls way short. and having hard shell tacos as the default taco is sooo wrong and not very mexican.

Always a quality meal. Margaritas are pretty tasty, too. One of the more authentic Mexican food places in the area.

Great atmosphere, very good, authentic Mexican, decent prices and free chips and fresh salsa. What more could you ask for?

Located in a strip mall next to Shaws, the restaurant is large with a bar area and two separate dining rooms. Came in without a reservation with a party of 6 and were seated immediately. You’ll be greeted with warm tortilla chips(several baskets worth at your request) and small carafes of freshly made salsa. Delicious! Recommend the«table side guacamole» — they craft a large molcajete bowl worth of guac for you. Goes great with the chips. Ordered the carnitas platter, enchiladas supreme and a fajita dish. Portions are generous so don’t fill up on chips. The food comes out on the slower side. Tastes decent, not mind blowing but above average. If you’re craving Mexican this place will hit the spot but it’s far from being destination worthy. The service varies by server but I received excellent service. She was very attentive. Beware the Unilocal fake reviews on this page!

They consistently mess up our take out order(but we now come to expect that) and the food is pretty bland and nothing to rave about. It’s the typical chain-style mexican restaurant that serves a standard entrée with fried beans and rice. Nothing exceptional, just average chips and salsa restaurant you get in every town you visit so at least you know what to expect… Not great but not terrible either, just average

Their tacos are great. And they have taco Tuesdays which is also great. Also the salsa is one of the best around. They could bottle it and I would buy it by the gallon.

So this has been my go-to spot for Mexican food in my area. I go with my co-workers for margaritas and appetizers, my husband for some beers and fajitas, and had a good sized end of the school year party here. I have always enjoyed it. On that note, Taco Tuesday was so disappointing. If I go to a «Taco Tuesday» special, I imagine one cook back in that kitchen assigned to making tacos and nothing but tacos. My husband and I expected a quick beer and a six pack of tacos on a work night. Three beers later, and the waitress is offering us another! No thanks, what we would like is our TACOS! We waited an hour total, and then only received four tacos, being told«well this is what we have right now.» They were cooking dinners in the order they were placed so we were waiting for people to get their full dinners before getting our tacos that take minutes to make! By the time we had six, we were in disgust by the quality of the tacos. Our expectations were not high for dollar tacos, but when we asked why there was NO seasoning on the taco meat, the waitress rudely replied, «that’s how we cook our beef sir.» Taco Tuesday NOBUENO! Wont go back here for a while. Very unapologetic service and no offer to take one or two of the $ 4.50 Coronas off the bill!

Has got much better and now includes chips on take out orders. Has become a consistent place for me and has regained my trust. Order taking Consistency is a slight issue and not allowing lunch portions anytime is a downer. But has done great since my first review.

Good food. Every meal starts with a free basket of chips and a decanter of the best pico de gallo ever! Friendly wait staff– our favorite waiter is Hector. The chicken tortilla soup is a favorite with me– full of flavor and lower calories than most items on the menu. Love this place!

I never liked Mexican food ’til I ate here. Love it. Very friendly staff, and great service, to boot. Food is fabulous. Chori Pollo is particularly good, as are the tamales and tacos(taco Tuesday!) Be warned: If you say, «Yes!» to a large draft beer, it’s like, 32oz!

Food is not bad, but the service is awful. Waiter rarely came to our table. When I asked for a side of sour cream, they never gave it to me. When I finally asked again, they gave me an entire bowl of it.

good food, friendly service, great selection. I had«la favorita» with a beef chimi and a chicken quesadilla. It came with a salad, guac, and rice. Everything was very flavorful and the meat was tender. Reasonably priced too!

Looking around for a new place to try, and we were about to give up and fall back to one of our mainstays, Pastamore, Yoshimama, etc. Then we happened across Mi Jalisco, which is a little bit out of the way for us in the Shaws Plaze in Milford. It is a very unassuming location from the outside, but the service, food and décor belie that humble façade. We had a little bit of a hiccup at the beginning, the host and the server were having some communication issues, but it was quickly straightened out. We ordered Mini-Chungas for an appetizer, Alex ordered a Burrito Verde and I got the Carnitas Burrito — both off the lunch menu. First of all, all of the food was absolutely fantastic, starting with the complimentary nacho chips and fresh salsa. The«mini» chimichungas were huge also, there were eight of them, and they came with a giant bowl of amazing queso. For two people they were practically a meal, I was able to give only desultory attention to my burrito at the restaurant. Now, hours later, we have both finished our food in brilliant Second-meal fashion, and I can fully attest that it was great hot and cold! Rounding out the experience, the drink menu is huge! I had Dos Equis on tap, and I wish it had been evening so I might have indulged in a giant margarita. To sum up, a phenomenal experience in a very unexpected location, top notch food in huge portions, and a vast drink menu. I highly recommend Mi Jalisco to anyone who enjoys Mexican cuisine, it stands up to anything else in the area.

Yum! Although we live in Manchester and have several options here, we frequent Mi Jalisco. It is really that good, and have never left without having a great(and delicious) experience. The margaritas are generously-sized and made properly(sub-par, too sour margaritas, especially at a Mexican restaurant, are a huge peeve of mine), and act as the cherry on top of some excellent meal choices. They also serve big ol’ Dos Equis on tap. Fresh chips and salsa are also always served to the table, alongside a friendly staff and vibrant atmosphere. Formerly being a(pretty outdated and kind of icky) bar, they did a fantastic job in their renovations. My only gripe is my preference for a lot of spice(this can be somewhat lackluster when making dishes widely agreeable to our northeast palates), but that is remedied by asking for a little extra heat to my added to my meal. I offer nothing but my sincere recommendation to try this place. I know that I – for one – look forward to my next visit.

This is one of my favorite places to go for dinner in Milford! They have really delicious vegetarian selections and the complementary chips come out warm while the salsa is mild and yummy. The service is great here too, the managers seem to really care about the customer. All in all, great Mexican food and great staff!

Writing this while still in the restaurant. Good Mexican American food at reasonable prices. The service is fast, portions large, and the wait staff is very responsive and accommodating. Recommend giving this place a shot if you’re in the mood for Mexican. On par with La Carreta.
