I just wish they would answer their phone when I call.

This is more the old school Kroger, but it is still very clean. The check out is pretty quick and staff is very friendly and helpful. Only thing I don’t like is that they don’t have a huge selection of foods like some Kroger. The organic and wine section is where I went at the time. I’ve returned more than once with no complaints. Located across from Frisch’s. There is also a Kroger’s Fuel Center if you need gas. Parking is easy access.

It would be really nice if Kroger would add a Marketplace in the Milford area. That said, this Kroger provides all the basic things that you would need from a grocery store. The customer service varies depending on who’s working, and the cleanliness is average, not great. My biggest complaint with this particular Kroger is that they can’t seem to get the produce department right. They often are out of stock on basic items, and then if you want something that’s not an everyday purchase(jalapeño, green pepper, etc.) the product will look good, but on closer examination, it’s merely shiny with wrinkles in it. I visited a Wegman’s in Virginia recently, and that’s what I would love to see in Cincinnati. They provide an experience versus just being a food store.

I’ve been shopping @ this Kroger for 8 years now and I have to be honest, I’m a huge fan of customer service! And this Kroger fits the bill when it comes to customer service. It has that small time feel; you get to know the guys in the dairy dept, the meat dept. Everyone is so helpful! You know it’s a great store when you find yourself sad that the dairy manager has retired! They have one daytime cashier that probably needs to move into a new field and out of customer service. But hey, I just avoid her line. They are great with accepting coupons.

This is my Kroger home base. I’d love for it to be the kind of place where everyone say’s hello and everyone is helpful and nice… but it’s not. No one is outwardly useless, but no one really goes out of their way to help anyone out at all either. There is one exception to this rule. And that is a man in the pharmacy named Chuck. Chuck is the single greatest employee at any store I’ve ever been to. Chuck frequently insists the my wife and I need to bring him in some brownies(And, one of these days I will). But, when I’m just walking through the store and he sees me from the pharmacy he’ll wave and ask how I’m doing(Usually, by yelling across a few aisles). He always remember’s who I am and looks for my prescriptions before I even walk up to the pharmacy. Chuck is awesome… so, he is the sole reason why I love this Kroger. Thanks Chuck for being a great person! Also, your mustache is FANTASTIC!
