This place is fantastic. Had boots repaired here for $ 25 and was quoted elsewhere at $ 45. Had another pair of boots that other cobblers told me were «unfixable» repaired while I waited for less than $ 15! Craftsmanship was excellent and both shoes are like new. Couldn’t recommend this place more. But make sure to bring cash!

I love this tailor. Very nice and polite, even if his English isn’t great, he always seems to get things right. Anytime I need help with costumes and alterations I can’t do on my own, I go to him. Even the times he says, «it might not work so well» on my more problematic items, he somehow makes it work.
He’s also an excellent cobbler. When we need shoe repairs, we hit him up.

Small place on busy street in Milford… they do alterations and shoe repair and seem to have a lot of machines and repair materials for use on their items. Guy working barely spoke English but was very sweet and fixed my sandal in less than 5 minutes… it needed some heavy duty glue for a strap that came lose out of the sole of the shoe. He told me that this particular glue has a compound that works stronger than super glue and that I should have no problems again. Paid $ 6…VERY reasonable and was in and out in less than 5 minutes on a Friday afternoon. I would go back again or recommend to others… shoe repair places are hard to come by these days.

Twice I have had pants/​shorts altered (e.g., waist taken-​in), and this guy has done a terrific job. He takes the time to fit and pin the item thoroughly and correctly. The items took about a week to complete (faster than the other alterations shops in Milford) AND they were ready when promised (also, better than the other alterations shops in Milford). He pressed the items, put them on hanger, and wrapped them in plastic for a clean presentation. While these step seem elementary, they are unfortunately not common at other alteration shops.
